I wheedled these out from Dior for you, because I loved my Or Etoile and Nocturne lipsticks from the Dior Les Rouges Or Christmas collection and wanted to share the love 🙂 Each of the Rouge Dior lipsticks in the Rouges Or collection has gold dust infused in it for a golden shine for the lips. Use Or Etoile on its own (if you dare) or over lipstick for a touch of golden shine. The pink shade is Cinderella, a soft pink that looks sweetly adorable.

Fancy a US$203,150 Handbag? Only if you have bags of money!

The first time I heard that a handbag sold for over US$200,000 (RM650,000) I said to myself – “It better be a Birkin and it better be diamond studded!”

I wasn’t too far wrong 😛

The most expensive handbag sold at an auction to date is this red crocodile skin Hermes Birkin studded with diamonds. Actually I think the diamonds are only studded on the clasp and if truth be told, if no one had pointed it out it was diamonds, I don’t think I’d have noticed. Or, I might have noticed and then said “I wonder why she stuck rhinestones all over her clasp” 😛

This is one of those items for Spring 2012 that is making all the hearts go a-flutter. We all know that every brand… and I mean every single brand out there that matters, is taking a floral theme for their Spring 2012 colour collections.

Dior Milly Garden Clutch

Dior is no exception. Their star product for the Spring 2012 is the Garden Clutch – similar to that of the Minaudiere of last year. This time its a pristine white and silver with carved roses for the clasp.

Beautiful, delicate details, as can be expected of the brand 🙂

The Smashbox Click You’re It eyeshadow palette plays the numbers game

If you’re wondering why Smashbox Cosmetics has this whole camera/movie vibe about their Christmas sets this year, it is worth noting that Smashbox Cosmetics was born out of Smashbox Studios, a photo studio in LA. By having all these references like “Click You’re It” and “Snap You’re Fab” you could say that Smashbox Cosmetics is going back to their roots 🙂

I only got this very recently but decided to push this one out quickly for a few reasons. It’ll probably sell fast, and I was reminded about it by reader Shay who asked if I would be telling you about the Smashbox eyeshadow palette this year. Yes I am! 😀 Its a bit of a whopper too, and comes in this bright red box which sits nicely on your dresser but doesn’t fit into any other sort of storage I can discern. Trust me, I’ve tried.
