Christmas Gift Guide & Best of 2009 : Smooches under the mistletoe!

Kissing under the mistletoe! A lovely Christmas tradition 😉

Pucker up with these lovely lip products that make great gifts too! Here are my personal favourites from 2009.

Best Lip Products of 2009

I love the Dior Serum de Rouge lipstick so this is a natural choice for me if you want to treat yourself to a bit of luxury. There are 8 colors to choose from and if you’re expecting a bit of bonus from work for a job well done over the year, this is also a good way to reward yourself 🙂 Retails at RM109. Worth it! So worth it! Already 2 people have told me so! And if you get it as a gift, your friend would love you for it! 🙂

Or another glam choice would be Lancome’s Rouge Absolu lipstick – gorgeous eye catching colours to suit most skintones. A little more affordable than the Dior 🙂 or if you want something personalized try to get the Guerlain Rouge G lipstick case engraved. I believe Guerlain can arrange that for you or you can just get it done at any engravers.

On a budget? Not to worry! Bloop de Paris creamy lipstick gives you creamy lips too at a much lower price and more budget picks follow.

If creamy colour isn’t your thing, go for sheer glossy color with L’Oreal Rose Glam lipsticks or Maybelline Watershine Pure lipsticks. Dewy kissable lips and useful stocking stuffers as the colors are so sheer, they can suit most people.

If you’d prefer to go au naturale try the Madara Lip Tint – sheer tint of color on lips with built in lip balm to keep lips moist and soft. Perfect for the eco-friendly friend. And if lipgloss is your failing, try the Stage Wondergloss lipgloss for some non tacky lipglosses.

These are my personal gift picks of lip products easily found at department stores and pharmacies and my personal favourites from brands and products I’ve come across this year. You will notice a proliferation of lipsticks – yeah they are my weakness 🙂

Do you have a favourite lip product of 2009 to share?

Stay beautiful,

Paris B

    O.o wow….great guide! I can’t wait for more! ^^

I don’t use lipstick cause they dry my lips… =( but putting a layer of lip blam before applying would do good. I don’t use any expensive brands. Just those cheap brands like lip ice XD Does well with subtle gloss for me~ I don’t make up much in the first place Just lip gloss and nothing else!

My new favourite right now is the Shu Uemura gloss. I’ve been using it everyday. Makes me look a little alive to counter the wintry pasty-white face 🙂

Love the list, can’t wait to checkout the Dior lipstick 🙂

don’t really know much abt lipsticks cuz I don’t use them… I don’t like the taste and smell… I prefer lip balms!! I can’t go out without lip balms cuz of the dry air… My mom likes the mayb watershine lipstick! In fact, she already has 3 sticks!! hehe… grab em during the sales… she uses it everyday so she would buy 2 at a time…

I bought myself the most expensive lipstick that i ever have – theDior Serum de Rouge. Too bad the Raspberry serum is out of stock. So i opt for Coral serum which suit suit for my skin tone.
