I’d like to introduce to you today, one of my favourite-est pressed powders. Oil control? Check! Smooth even finish? Check! Pricey? Check and check! 😛

Unfortunately, ladies quality like this doesn’t come cheap. This is the RMK Pressed Powder N which somes with SPF14 PA++ and comes in 5 shades. This is just one of them. What this powder is, is a setting powder. A powder you apply after you are done with your base makeup – concealer and foundation. When you are done, dust this all over, and it sets the base, keeping you looking flawless all day. I kid you not! I wear this one over BB Cream or liquid foundation and I’m pretty much shine free by the end of the day and skin takes on this luminous smooth look I’m absolutely obsessed with at this point in time 😛

30 Days of Lip Colours Project: Did You Miss Any Or Have A Favourite?

Before I go on, Happy Eid-ul Fitr / Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri to all Muslim readers! 😀 Enjoy your celebrations and the inevitable feasts 😀 I hope everyone else is enjoying the festive break wherever you are.

Ah, 4 months after I said I’d do a 30 Days of lip colours project, I’ve finally completed it. Yay for me 😛 Instead of boring everyone by going at it straight for 30 days as I did before, I opted to take it slow this time. Clearly, taking it slow means dragging it out but I’m glad I did, because in between, new lippies came into the picture which allowed me to showcase them (and give me an excuse to use them).

So by way of a round up, here are all 30 lip colours which include lipsticks and lip glosses. I will be on a break tomorrow (I’m presently away on vacation actually) but please come back in September. I have something terribly exciting lined up on the blog and I’m bursting to share the news. But it’ll have to wait till I get back 😉

You don’t have to be afraid of green eyeshadow with RMK Mix Colors Eye and Cheek palettes

I love green eyeshadows. I think they are one of the best shades for Asian skins and to complement brown eyes. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself! Its one of the easiest way to ease into colours other than the usual browns and beiges.

The problem is in getting the green subtle enough to wear in a formal or semi-formal setting. RMK has quite a versatile green palette that, in typical Japanese makeup fashion, goes on sheer and more subtle than it looks in the pan.

If you aren’t a fan of sheer shimmer colours for eyes, then I will tell you that this will not be for you. However, if you like having a subtle wash of colour, with just enough shimmer to perk things up and give that wide-eyed look, then you might like to take a look at this.

Day 22 of 30: RMK Lip Crayon 01 Pink

The RMK Lip Crayon is new in the RMK Sping/Summer collection 2011 and I believe its permanent to the collection. What it is, is your typical twist up crayon lip colour that does not need sharpening. Its a very lovely slim package that easily slips into pockets, pochettes, clutches, tiny little dangly bags that don’t fit anything more than your ID and cash… you get the drift.

Packaging wise, its a winner by a mile and a half. What about colour then?
