Divide and Conquer! That’s what the RMK Separate Curl Mascara does for your lashes

June 6, 2011 Paris B 33 Comments

There was a time when I thought I’d found my Perfect Mascara and I declared my search ended. As fate would have it, another quite perfect mascara entered my world. Unfortunately, it too is a terribly pricey mascara – don’t you hate it when that happens?

This new contender for the “Perfect Mascara” throne is the RMK Separate Curl mascara which weighs in at a hefty RM125 a tube. And I thought the Shiseido one was pricey 😛 Unfortunately, it is a really good mascara on many counts.

The RMK Separate Curl mascara is a curling mascara that is waterproof and helps your lashes curl and stay curled all day. It delivers on its promises and the only real complaints I’d have about it is the price and the packaging.

Ms. Nosy Parker Asks: Whats on your lips today? Mine: RMK Irresistible Lips Deep Rose Pink

February 9, 2010 Paris B 28 Comments

I’m going to be a Ms. Nosy Parker.

Each week, I’m going to pick a feature and ask you what you’re wearing and tell you what I am wearing. It’ll probably jolt me out of my rut and it’ll be fun to share 😀

Last week I asked you what was on your nails. Today, I’m going to ask you:-

What lipstick/lipgloss are you wearing today?

Mine is … surprise! Not my favourite red lipsticks! 😛 Instead I’m wearing … a deep rose pink. Ok, not quite pink either nor quite rose. Somewhere in between hence the name I guess.

RMK Irresistible Lips 05 Deep Rose Pink

The lipstick is by RMK – a brand I never really paid much attention to before. Partly it was because I was scared off by a sales assistant with scary horror movie eyes – she had on those lenses that make your irises look huge and black *shudder*

But the RMK Irresistible Lips lipstick in 05 Deep Rose Pink was a gift from a friend and like all friends who know me only too well, I am now left wanting more. Sigh… why do you do this to me!

RMK Christmas Palette 2008

November 18, 2008 Paris B 17 Comments

In my last post on the Coffret D’or Party Palettes for Christmas, reader Cynthia asked in a comment:-

rm98 each is really a good price,
still deciding wanna buy this or the RMK holiday palette
what do u think?

Well, I withheld comment until I’d actually seen the RMK Christmas palette in person instead of online and yesterday evening, while I was at Isetan The Gardens, I popped by the RMK counter to check out the palette. The testers are hidden away so you have to ask. They don’t expect it to go on sale until next week when stocks come in.

Now, I’m a stranger to RMK products I’d freely admit. Not many things have attracted my attention much even if I know that the foundation gets raves all over the world and I should really be thankful that we have a counter here when other people elsewhere are dying to see the products in person before buying. Unfortunately however, nothing much grabs me and says “BUY ME!!”

Unfortunately, the RMK Christmas Palette falls into the same category.
