So, how are you doing this bright breezy Monday morning? Nevermind if you’re feeling peaky or blue. Come join in the celebrations here at MWS in the third (count that, 3!) Celebrate October Giveaway!
For the uninitiated (in which case, maybe you are missing out on lots more than just this giveaway series) the Celebrate October Giveaway series celebrates… October. We all have a favourite month, mine is October. All prize packs are sponsored by me, moi and I by way of a thank you for all your support through the year and years; and they will contain at least 1 personal favourite item.
This 3rd one is a beaut and a celebration of some good high end and low end makeup! We kicked off with makeup, we had some hair and body treats and now, we’re back to makeup and… the famed Bioderma Micellar Cleansing Water! We don’t have it here in Malaysia yet 🙂 I will note however, that I will not send it overseas. So, while this giveaway is open worldwide, if you win and you reside outside of Malaysia, the Bioderma will be omitted from the prize pack as it will cost too much and it is far too liquid to transport. Deal? Ok, here we go!
Celebrate October Giveaway #3: Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Water travel size 100ml (read my review), Laura Mercier Foundation Primer 14.7ml, L’Oreal Shine Caresse liquid lipstick in Faye, Chanel Illusion d’Ombre 85 Mirifique (Sparkly black).
There are 2 things to note in this prize pack:
- If this prize pack is sent overseas, the Bioderma cleansing water will NOT be included.
- In the process of photographing this set, my finger accidentally grazed the surface of the brand new Chanel shadow, where I have indicated in the photo below. It was inadvertent but I had to point it out.
For a chance to win this set, here’s what you have to do (and it does not involve you selling your kidney)
Leave a comment below and tell us the following:-
- If I were visiting you in your town or city, where is the first place you’d take me when I arrive? AND
- Do you use the navigation bar at the top of this page (About, Budget Beauty etc) and do you find it useful?
- Bonus entry (optional): A question will be popping up on Instagram so answer it there for a bonus entry. You’ll know it when you see it, so follow the instructions there! (Not necessary to post it here but it is additional to No. 1 and 2)
Please feel free to share the news of this giveaway with your friends.
Some things to take note are:-
- Deadline for entries will be 12noon 10 October 2013 (+8GMT). Winners will be picked at the end of the October from the comments received, and announced on my social media channels and notified by email.
- This one is open worldwide (but the Bioderma item will not be shipped outside of Malaysia).
- If new, here are the general terms and conditions applicable to all giveaways on MWS.
Have fun and good luck!
Paris B
WINNER: LISA Winner will be contacted by email

1. I will bring you to the famous Satay Celup in Melaka. I seldom eat actually so whenever my friends came to my hometown, they will definitely want to eat this.
2. Yes I did use it. I do feel it is very useful as sometimes I would like to search the latest make up or skin car you using and the review of it.
I love Bioderma and currently using the 2nd bottle!

Universal Studios Singapore ! That place is heavenly beautiful! Totally a fairytale! It’s probably the most beautiful places I’ve ever been!
They have everything in one place! There are Mummies , Dinosaurs , Madagascar ……
Anything you can think of came alive there!!!!
I mean come on !! Don’t you ever wanted to escape from your present life and live in your little fantasy, fairytale world ?
And the most exciting part was the CASTLE ! The CASTLE that Shrek and Fiona lived in !
It was so beautiful no word could ever describe my feelings ! and the views were breathtaking !
One other things I liked about Universal Studio was the NEW YORK CITY ! Oh Man they made it so real !! Like I was really there , at NYC! and they place this super cute Yellow 40’s Taxi near the New York Public Library , they did the scenery extremely beautiful and flawless I almost cried(dramatic but real XD).
Yup ! I think you’re going to love it !
Of course they’re useful ! No readers can find the title they wanted to read if the navigation bar doesn’t exist ! Your blog will be a mess and no one would read it! Why I like about your blog is that it is all organized and simple , easy to excess !
So keep up and good luck ! XOXO

1. A temple in Segenting, minyak beku. It is a temple at the seaside. There are 2 big fishes, i don’t know what is its name in english, we called it ‘ju long’. Local believes if you are able to touch the fish you will get good luck. That’s why you can see there are people selling ‘toto’ there. Besides, there are some restaurants that sell fresh seafood (freshly caught from the sea) If you are staying long, I would bring you to Johor Premium Outlet (JPO) which takes about 1.5 hours from my place and you can enjoy your shopping there.
2. Yes. Very useful, nicely classified! I especially like the ‘ save & splurge’!

1. I would bring you to try our famous sibu kampua. Too many stalls to choose from so can’t name any.
2. Yes I do. I use it to navigate my way around to search for an item in a specific category. The search tool is helpful too.

Paris there are a lot of ‘what ifs’ and I want to give you options:
1) San Francisco, California: First we must drop your luggage off. If you have energy we can go sightseeing then eating or eating and shopping in downtown or you prefer to relax for a while then we can eat and shop!
2) Saving and splurging are always useful, it always help to decide if I want to spit the money on something on luxury item or not.
Lastly thank you for the wonderful giveaway. ?

Late to the party…..again!
I’ll take you to this lakeside park which has outdoor gym stations, play ground, jogging track, fishing and kite flying. A lovely place to have a picnic and just chill. Nice shady trees too.
And yes I do use the navigation bar – most of the time to re-read some of your reviews especially when I happen to spy on the product, and contemplating buying it.

If you were to visit Chicago, I would try to avoid the “touristy” places but you have to try pizza here, right? I’d take you to Quartino’s because it is fancy enough to have wine and cheese but casual enough to wear sneakers. Food first! 😛
I have not been using the navigation bar. I can see how it would be useful, but I find it a little confusing with all the different sub-menus.

1. I’m living in Cyberjaya, which is home to many good-to-great Middle Eastern restaurant, so the first thing I would do is take you to the best Shawarma (roasted chicken/beef marinated with yogurt, spices and butter, wrapped inside a grilled pita bread stuffed with fries, pickles and tomato) restaurant and stuff ourselves silly with shawarma, hommus and succulant lamb kebab.
2. No, I seldom use the navigation bar. It’s not completely useless if I want to find old posts or save vs. splurge posts but since cosmetic companies have been competitive and coming out with newer stuff recently I tend to look forward to your newer posts.

If you’ll go here in Manila, I’ll take you to Greenhills (or Divisoria if you’re feeling adventurous :P) They are not a tourist spots, but more of a shopper’s haven.
I haven’t used your navigational bar yet since I visit your site almost everyday for new blog posts 🙂

Mmmm.. I’ll probably bring you to Sunway Lagoon! As they say, fun under the sun! Hee.
Nope. Hardly use the navigation bar. If there is a post I need to refer to I usually type the content and add mywomenstuff at the back ie, makeupstorage mywomenstuff lol

1. I would take you to a nice restaurant with Romanian food, because you would probably be starving !

1. If you were visiting my hometown of Milwaukee, first I’d question your logic behind the visit. I’d then shove you in a towncar and drive 90 minutes into downtown Chicago to go shopping on Michigan Ave. Not original, but it’s a hell of a lot of fun.
2. I really don’t use the bar at the top – I’m more of ‘check the latest post’ kind of girl.
