30 Days of Lip Colours Project: Did You Miss Any Or Have A Favourite?

Before I go on, Happy Eid-ul Fitr / Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri to all Muslim readers! 😀 Enjoy your celebrations and the inevitable feasts 😀 I hope everyone else is enjoying the festive break wherever you are.

Ah, 4 months after I said I’d do a 30 Days of lip colours project, I’ve finally completed it. Yay for me 😛 Instead of boring everyone by going at it straight for 30 days as I did before, I opted to take it slow this time. Clearly, taking it slow means dragging it out but I’m glad I did, because in between, new lippies came into the picture which allowed me to showcase them (and give me an excuse to use them).

So by way of a round up, here are all 30 lip colours which include lipsticks and lip glosses. I will be on a break tomorrow (I’m presently away on vacation actually) but please come back in September. I have something terribly exciting lined up on the blog and I’m bursting to share the news. But it’ll have to wait till I get back 😉

Day 30 of 30 : Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme in Framboise Creme

I wonder how many of you have noticed that the 30 days of lip colours project that started in May never really came to an end? 🙂 Well now it has! Day 30 of 30 features one of the most cult, most luxurious lip colours I own by new and cult makeup brand Le Métier de Beauté.

Le Metier de Beaute is a new luxury brand of makeup that’s attaining cult status by being hard to get (only available at the higher end department stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman… and the like). No mere Sephora for this brand! And prices. Oh the prices!

Mad In Love With The Banana Republic Mad Men Collection

I walked past the Banana Republic store in The Gardens about a week ago, and literally did a double take. I know many people find Banana Republic’s clothes boring. Well, I like them because they are boring 😛 But they are also wearable and comfortable. But what made my head swivel around was the poster for the Mad Men Collection.

I’ve never watched Mad Men but I’ve seen images around of the fashion from the show, and I like what I see. I also liked what I saw in Banana Republic because dammit! These are dresses and clothes I’d wear! I also think the cut classic 🙂

I’m not quite sure how or why I turned up at the Johnson & Johnson Acuvue launch for their new contact lenses, except perhaps for the promise of a good luncheon 😛 Ever since my epi lasik procedure years ago, I’ve had no need for any assistance in the vision department, wonky as it might be from day to day. However, this might be useful for those of you who are wearing spectacles and thinking of trying contact lenses, or who are already wearing contacts.
