Happy Saturday ladies!

I’ve got a fun Saturday ahead of me, and I’m sure you have too so let’s not dawdle ok? 🙂 Here are a couple of new items you can keep an eye out for. One’s already out in stores and another is coming soon. Plus if you’d like to be a bit of a sleuth, I’ve got a picture of a mystery “coming soon” item too 😀

Already in Stores: Olay White Radiance Cellucent White Essence

You will have seen this around and on TVCs. Belinda Chee is the face of Olay White Radiance and the Olay White Radiance Cellucent White Essence is a new addition to the Olay White Radiance line together with the cream. But what intrigues me is this White Essence, with its “specially designed dropper” to allow you to target your problem areas. I’m very intrigued by that.

This is an intensive treatment to treat dark spots and uneven skin tone. I reckon with a name like “White Essence” its a bit of a dead giveaway.

Guest Review: Dr. Sebagh Serum Repair Collagen P and Hyaluronic Acid

A while ago, I ran a giveaway for the Dr. Sebagh Serum Repair if you recall. Suzanne was the winner and she gave the serum to her Mum to try because she figured it would do her Mum’s skin a world of good. This is what Suzanne and her Mum have to say about the Dr. Sebagh Serum Repair complete with before/after pictures. I have my own observations below.

My mom started to use the product on the 13th September. When she first saw the bottle, she mentioned about the size and whether its enough to use for a month!

She uses it at night only before her usual night creme. First time when she used it, she mention that you need to quickly spread it out, otherwise it will seep into the skin almost immediately. After trial and error she manage to maximise the full drop evenly on the face. Takes practice though! The after effect of using it, is the skin becomes taut, almost immediately like some firming action taking place. And about 10 seconds later, you can feel the skin becoming soft and smooth again.

It has a nice scent. Soothing to the nose. After a months usage, my mom felt her skin was glowing and sort of like shiny, like after a facial treatment. Fine lines seems to be plumped out. So its good!

Focus on Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle and Photo Damage Corrector

Back in August I got me grubby paws on the (then) new Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus serum. It is touted as a Wrinkle and Photo Damage Corrector. My eyes zeroed in on the words “Photo Damage Corrector”. Have I mentioned I have pigmentation? Yes, a million times or so 😛

Gah! How did that picture get so big?!

But when I read the copy, I realized that the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus does not target pigmentation sort of photo damage. Rather, it targets the fine lines and winkles sort of photo damage. Hmm… since I’ve been using this serum and that serum I gotta say that I’m already keeping fine lines at bay. But I gave this one a shot anyway.

So, whilst I cannot tell you if it works well to diminish fine lines and wrinkles (another serum took care of that already) I can tell you that my skin took to this one like a duck to water. It could be all those peptides and Vitamin E and C, packed into one potent serum, that did it because my skin was starting to look pretty good, plus I found a side benefit I’ll tell you about further down 😉
