The easiest gifts to get a woman for any occasion be it birthdays or Christmas, is the perfume coffret sets that cosmetics companies put together in a value pack. Not only do you get a lovely looking gift, it is usually value for money as it comes with miniatures or body lotions in matching scents. It can be rather trite but unless a woman is allergic to alcohol, few women say no to a gift of scent.

I was flipping through a magazine yesterday when my eye fell upon this rather deja-vu-ish picture.

Where have I see that before?

Why in Guerlain of course! The famed Guerlain Meteorites Illuminating powder balls. Don’t they bear an uncanny resemblance to Guerlain’s iconic product? I was so surprised that its taking Estee Lauder so long to jump onto the illuminating bandwagon. Lunasol Lipstick promotion – RM48 only

I saw this Lunasol ad in a local magazine a couple of days ago, and I knew I had to spread the word.

You can now get a Lunasol Full Glamour Lips lipstick for only RM48 if you bring along any old lipstick to the counter. Lunasol lipsticks usually retail for RM88 each and you can just about get a Revlon lipstick at RM48 so why not try out Lunasol?

I was at a Kanebo counter at Lot 10 Isetan yesterday and can vouch for the credibility of this promotion. I did not buy any though as I did not have a spare lipstick on me and the available colours are limited. Still, if you do find a colour that suits you, this might be worth a look. Promotion is available while stocks last.
