Shoes

Absolutely Crazy over the Clarks Dollar Craze Shoes

August 12, 2012 Paris B 51 Comments

In my shoe book, Clarks is filed under Comfy heels but boring designs. Ok, I’m being kind. Its more like “Clarks – Comfy but Frumpy” Tell me you disagree 😛 But some of the more recent designs are starting to catch my eye and when I spotted the ad for this pair of bright yellow heels, I just knew I HAD to have it. I just HAD TO!

Don’t you think they are adorable? Its ok if you don’t, I love them and I actually went and hunted them down right here in Malaysia. Oh yes, we get these here and if I might say so, they are just as adorable in real life! The shoe is suede which sent up a bit of warning bells. I’m not terribly good with wearing suede shoes because they tend to wear out faster and its hard to clean, and yellow is potentially going to be a mess if it gets dirty.

The only problem is I could not wear them. Boohoo! 🙁

Ferragamo Fall 2012 Varina Flats Takes you from Day to Night

I did the unthinkable during the week and stepped into the Ferragamo store at Pavilion to check out their mid year sale. Yep! S-A-L-E! 😀 There were a few items that caught my eye but fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) they didn’t come in my size. Most of the classic designs don’t go on sale, so you can expect to get mostly the seasonal items, which means no pretty classic plain coloured Varina or Vara shoes, but maybe a patterned design. There were some pretty pairs available if anyone’s interested 😉

However, one item from the upcoming Fall 2012 collection caught my eye. It is a pair of Varina flats in patent leather with an interesting yet quite subtle leopard print design. On feet, it isn’t as loud as all that and in fact looks quite pretty. Varina flats have a beautiful way of transforming my feet into delicate feminine pins that I absolutely adore.

But here’s the interesting bit. These shoes will change colour according to the temperature!

Object of Desire: Ferragamo Varina Flats

April 1, 2012 Paris B 52 Comments

ferragamo varina flats

I’ve never been one to spend a lot of money on my shoes. I used to be reluctant to, thinking it was sacrilege to be stepping on very pricey shoes. Ferragamo is one of those old shoe brands I have eyed up for the longest time without ever taking the plunge.

However, I recently went to check out the Ferragamo Varina flats for a friend and I’ll be darned if I didn’t half fall in love with them myself 😛 Enough to make me re-think my reluctance.

My Small but Perfectly Formed Shopping Haul: I’m getting better at not going overboard!

March 11, 2012 Paris B 75 Comments

The first trip I made to Hong Kong, I came home with half a Sasa store. I’m kidding. Almost. 😛

With each subsequent trip I make, my shopping hauls get smaller and smaller but comprise products I already use, need or that I actually want. *gasp* I must be growing up! 😛

shopping haul

This time, I just picked up a couple of essentials in the Kose Softymo Cleansing Oil (I can’t believe my “essentials” come from Hong Kong 😛 ) and a couple more items I’d been wanting to have a go at. I know everyone loves snooping into others’ holiday shopping hauls but this is so small, its almost embarrassing.
