Hullo hullo! More celebratory fun ensues! This time, I wanted to share with one lucky winner 2 makeup items which are things I particularly love – blush and brushes. The blush is a Chanel Joues Contraste in Rose Temptation which is a rather deep rose that I picked for being flattering on most skintones, although light skintones may find it a challenge. The brush kit was a gift from Shiseido and isn’t branded, but the brushes are lovely items that I know you’ll enjoy using.

1. Logona Eye Makeup Remover Oil. It helps to condition my super dry eye area and it cleanses well. I sometimes use it on my entire face as well. I’m on my third bottle. And it doesn’t clog my pores.
2. I think it was the Shiseido Camellia Compact Blush. I bought it almost on the spot. Completed my purchase within 5 mins at the Shiseido counter. I love it when i do not have to deal with the salesperson and having that confidence in the product knowing yes, it will work. Thank q! 🙂

Last thing I bought-Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Moisture Boost Concentrate! I usually have oily skin but it’s been going through a dry spell lately, this was perfect as it was not too heavy yet was very hydrating!
And how did I come to know about this? From MWS itself! I guess that answers the second question hehe 🙂

1. I get myself the new Shiseido Ibuki skincare range lately, the fact that it targets women with late night sleep, stressful work and free radicals damage completely convincing me into it. “It’s going to work!” I love the Softening concentrate’s floral scent so much so that I sniff the facial cotton each time after wiping it over my face. 😀
2. Do not underestimate your persuasive ability. Over the years, I have tried few products you recommended, mostly skincare because I am not a makeup junkie. If I have to name one, it will be Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. The next in my mind now is Nars creamy concealer!

Just last week, I got myself my 4th lipstick – Loreal lipstick but I don’t like it. It makes my teeth looked so yellowish…
You’ve influenced me especially in your Save and Splurge segment! I’m currently loving the Hada Labo’s sunscreen. Though there were reviews that didn’t work out for me but hey.. you always mention not all products that worked for you will work for others!
Thanks for the giveaway Paris.

The last makeup that i purchased was NYX lipstick in Cocoa. I love the shade so much and the texture really impressed me due to the really affordable price.
My women stuff has helped me a lot. Love your swatches and reviews. I bought the Shiseido perfect UV sunscreen and it works great for me.

1. My last haul made was from Etude House during their Buy 1 Free 1 sales. Went a lil bonkers there and got quite a few things. But my absolute love goes to Etude House’s AC Clinic Intense – Pink Powder Spot. It works like a charm on my pimples! Can’t say if its better than the Mario Badescu one as I’ve never tried it before but I guess it has the same concept and is a lot more affordable!
2. I refer to MWS for many reviews! You convinced me to purchase Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. Love it as well! & the Avene spray which is currently a staple in my makeup bag.

1. Last beauty item I bought was translucent loose powder from the budget beauty brand, Essence. Love it! On my 2nd tub and at RM20 a pop (not counting when it goes on discount during Watson’s sales), it does the job perfectly well.
2. Guerlain Meteorites. ‘Nuff said.

What was the last makeup or skincare item you bought and did you like it?
Recently purchased urban decay primer potion from sephora! Loved it to bits! Made the eye shadows stayed for a long sweaty day.
Have you been influenced by a review here on MWS to purchase anything and if so, did it work for you?
Not entirely, mainly because I cannot afford the high end cosmetics that MWS recomended. But I definitely do keep in mind of certain products mentioned for my next purchase!
Thank you for making more giveaways!

The last makeup item which I bought is the Lunasol newest lipstick in number20 and the face powder! I love the texture of the lipstick. Glide smoothly on my lip and it’s moisturizing. As for the face powder, it was able to provide medium coverage and I love the fine feeling of it.
Yup! The Shiseido Perfect UV Protector SPF50Pa+++ sunscreen . This is one of the sunscreen that I tried which did not leave any greasy feeling on the face! Thanks a lot !!

1. The last makeup item was the Revlon just bitten lip crayon. Love the long lasting stain n how easily it can fit into my makup bag.
2. Can’t really afford to indulge using the high end brands like Dior n Channel. However I ran to Pangea organics to buy the lavender body oil after reading yr review. Love it and I’m still using it until today!

1. The last makeup item I bought was the Loreal True Match Foundation and yes I like it because it matched my shade perfectly.
2. Yes, but only the affordable ones because most of the items you review are high end skincare and makeup items. 🙂

1. Instead of my most recent re-purchased makeup item, I shall tell you about my most recent delightful discovery! Its the Limi Avocado Refreshing Body Scrub. Tada! You must never have heard about this. I discovered this when I was on a business trip in Shanghai.
I worked quite long hours there and no way I could have spent the time (i.e. any godly hour) to go to a spa. So, in a lousy mood, I decided to go to the local Watsons to buy a scrub to DIY spa in the hotel. Much to my amazement, this scrub is the most wonderful one that I have used ever! The sands r very fine, non abrasive, but gets the job done so well I thought I had reborn skin! The cream was light, non oily, non sticky. Overall, easy to wash off and be refresh! As promised!
And the retail price was RMB45. I got it on sale for just RMB25!!! I was so excited, I got half a dozen of ’em jars. 😀
2. I think long ago you influenced me about Stage makeup. I did get an eye palette from them once. So, thank you for that! 🙂

Hey Paris,
The last piece of makeup item i bought was THREE performance eye pencil in Doll Eyes! Asked a pal to lug it back from Japan for me, and i love love this pencil so much. I’ve naturally oily eyelid, and i have liked purchased other 20 and more different brands of pen pencils/ liquid eyeliners..from YSL, Chanel, MAC, Lancome, Givenchy to drug store brands like L’Oreal, Pixi, NARS and Kate. Only THREE managed to stay on the eyes at the end of the day. Good buy and i will continue to collect more of it! 🙂
Oh i have gotten many many things based on your blog! i bought the full range of Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate, Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (these 2 are a duh), Midnight Recovery Concentrate (Wonderful for dry skin!), the Sulwahosoo Essential range (still testing it now) , Shiseido Sunscreen (best best sunscreen and base makeup), NARS Creamy Concealer (i like it..and its much cheaper compared to Cle De Peau ;p), 2 tubs of Guerlain Meteorites (to be honest.. i buy for the design only..not a big fan becos i cannot really “see” it on my face), Real Technique Expert Face Brush, Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush, Revlon Lip Butters (All 4 of it!) etc etc. I love and hate your blog so much! hahahhaa

i recently bought the Clinique Laser Focus serum, hoping that it would save my face from the fine lines…. I have tried it a few years back and totally love it… but this time it dries out my skin completely and makes the fine lines more visable!!!!! this is my 7th day using it…. i will give it a go to the 2-week promise it said on the ad….
fingers crossed!!!
I am pretty influnced by you regarding the cleansing oil. I have been using it for such s long time i didn’t realise that it may not be for everyone. I switched to cleansing water and my skin told me that’s not the right choice (serious breakout). however that’s a nice try to figure out what’s best for my face 🙂
