And now for the Celebrate October Winners – there are 3 this year who will share this loot!

Winners are : Alison, Ching, Norissa Chavez
I will be contacting you by email and you will have 48 hours to respond or your prize is forfeit. I’m very strict about that so make sure you check your email and your spam box.
Thank you everyone for helping make the Readers’ Choice Awards 2012 a great success!
Now tell me: Did any of the results surprise you? Or perhaps your favourite products won?
I was actually quite interested in the shortlist, more than the winners. There are quite a few products there I haven’t tried, and did you notice a couple of products that won last year also won your hearts this year? I love that! 😀
Paris B
Wow. At last!
Haha yes, at last. Took me a while to get through them all.
Yaay! Some of my favs won, some of brands/products which I dont even know 🙂 Interesting to see what others like 🙂
I thought so too! Some of them are Asia based so that might explain the popularity locally
erm looks like i am not using the mainstream stuff, LOL, or not the best stuff. damn ><
Actually, me neither! 😛
I went “Whoa” at Hada Labo. Didn’t realise it’s such a popular item! Yay for Estee Lauder ANR winning and I also see some Dior faves out there. Some surprises here and there, but the staples are there, I guess 🙂
Congratulations to the winners, brands and readers
I was surprised at Hada Labo too but I can understand the popularity because of the really affordable price point, and they do work well 🙂
ah.. hada labo big winner! i am big fans of their product too!! congratz to the lucky winner~~
Yeah! I wasn’t too surprised LOL!
Yay! More things to add to the to-try list. 😛 We’re such enablers! Ho ho ho…
There are definitely a few intriguing items on the short list. But a lot of the old-time favs are still the winners. 🙂
That’s what struck me too. I see a lot of “classics” up there in the shortlist and winners list and that actually makes a lot of sense!
Very surprising results but interesting nevertheless. 🙂
I think it’s high time to try the Hada Labo products now, isn’t it?
I think the winning Hada Labo products are worth a try. I’ve used them myself and they are pretty good stuff 🙂
Oohh… have to check out Hada Labo cleansers soon. At the moment, only using and loving the sunblocks in white bottle (Moist Emulsion) and blue bottle (UV Whitening Emulsion).
I like the Super Hyaluronic Acid Face Wash although the Tamagohada one is really good too. But my sensitive hands couldn’t handle that .
St. Ives is the best scrub ever! Cheap but outstanding performance! I have been using it over a decade! I use it on my face and body, but one tube still seems to last forever!
I miss their cucumber eye gel, it is also an excellent product! When I was a teenage and has no budget at all for skincare, that bottle of eye gel save my whole face ( I was lazy too to put too many stuffs on my face back in that time :P)
I have to agree with you about St. Ives scrub being cheap and good. A bit rough for my face now, I feel, but great stuff for the body!
Ok I was kind of shocked, I believe Hada Labo is the Taylor Swift of this survey :)))) I noted some items to try for later (especially from whiitening/brightening categories) but other than that I believe only one or two of my choices were winner, I feel like I need to take a look at new items, I really feel I’m out of my game.
Haha well, its cheap and most of the items do work well which is why I can see it being popular 🙂 If you have a chance to, do try them. I don’t think you’re out of your game at all. Not all of us have to like and use the same things – I don’t 😉
Some were expected, some are a bit of a surprise…time to take a look at some of the unexpected winners! 😀
Haha so which do you plan to try? 😛
Wow.. thats a great list of shopping for future purchasses 🙂
I never thought about it that way, but it makes sense!
Wow, some of those surprised me. Thanks for this list.
You’re most welcome – its a whole new shopping list there! 😉
Yay!!! Happy happy happy!!!
Back to the results… Wow…Appears to be a huge (price) gap amongst the winners with the bulk coming from pharma brands…hmmm… Maybe stratification by age groups will produce different results? Food for thought… 😀
Haha! Yes I did notice that in the Skincare category, many pharmaceutical brands won while in makeup, many high end brands won. Hmm… I think breaking it down further would make the polls harder to control but its probably a good indication of what people are looking for – price vs quality 😉
I’m so glad Laura Mercier is shortlisted in so many categories!
I’ve tried a couple of the shortlisted items recently and am surprised! I quite like them! 🙂
wooo! congrats congrats!
Thanks for all your effort Paris & to those who were involved. I’m happy to see that some of the skincare and makeup items I use are on the lists. Hehe. I do use makeup but I haven’t tried a lot of brands. These lists will be my guide ^^ While I was reading, I was like, “I should try this, I should try that too” Hehe!
Aww thank you Rin 🙂 It makes a good place to start looking for product recommendations doesn’t it? 😀
AAAAHHH! Yay, yay, yay!
I voted non-stop for the Dermalogica Microfoliant and the Clarisonic, so the St Ives must have some serious fans out there! So many unexpected winners, but I’m so glad the ballz got some love! Guerlain’s highlighters are exceptional, and are always a favourite among beauty bloggers.
LOL! And you must be a huge fan of the Dermalogica and Clarisonic! 🙂 I was very surprised to see Guerlain Meteorites make it. Everyone always says its so pricey when I talk about it and then to suddenly see it win is mind boggling LOL!
Yeay for Hada Labo!!! Love their Hyaluronic Acid and I’ve been recommending it to family and friends for the last 3 years…No regrets~
Estee’s ANR is a definite winner…30 years of R&D is evidence that they know what’s best!
Am surprised that some of the good stuff here are of the shelf items that are affordable.
Anyway, thanks for this list PB!
I actually love that most of the products are affordable. Goes to show you, good stuff or at least popular stuff can come cheap too 🙂
yay! I’m one of the celebrate october winners… thank you so much! some of my favorites won too 🙂
congratulations, Issa!
