October 1, 2009 Paris B

Kicking off the October celebrations is Shu Uemura.

How many of you read about the Famous Five of Shu Uemura I wrote about a while ago? Well, you might remember that the Eyebrow pencil is one of the famous five!

shu-prize

You will get an eye brow pencil in #9 Walnut (A new color if I’m not mistaken) and the pencil started out hand-sharpened by me but has been finished up by a pro so you are getting something pretty unique! LOL…  You’ll also be getting some deluxe miniatures of another 3 Iconic products in a Shu Uemura pouch – how about that?!

The prize is 1 exclusive Shu Uemura pouch filled with:-

  • 1 full size sharpened Shu Uemura hard formula eyebrow pencil
  • 1 travel size Shu Uemura UV Underbase mousse
  • 1 travel size Shu Uemura deep sea facial mist bergamot scent
  • 1 travel size bottle of the popular Shu Uemura cleansing oil

How to win these? Find out after the jump! 😀

All you have to do is leave a comment and tell us:-

What does October mean to you?

Me: Autumn Leaves turning red and gold – I miss autumn. Oh and birthdays of course! 🙂

This giveaway is open to those with a Malaysian mailing address only as the pencil is fragile. The winner will be picked at random from the comments received by 12noon 4 October 2009.

If you’re on Twitter, you can retweet this to spread the word but you don’t have to if you don’t want to- it would be nice if you did 😉

Winner of 2 previous giveaways, please give way for others yes? Only 1 winner. Ready… set… go!

October for me is the start of the exam season, meaning a lot of hard work and studying ahead. Gorgeous colours and countless leaves on the floor, but no way for me to enjoy it =(

The start of attendance to wedding dinners which gets more frequent at the end of the year (which means I’ll be pretty broke by then). =P.

October to me is a month that I’ll wait anxiously every year as on the 22nd is my friend’s birthday and me which coincidence her dad’s name is as same as my dad. However October is also a month away from my engagement anniversary hence it’s making another year of waiting to be married.

From a geek point of view, October is when housekeeping on databases and servers take place. Scripts need to be replaced to ensure nothing breaks come the following year. It means a period where things start to wind down and patches released are slowed down. Beautiful!

From a chic point of view, October is when holiday palettes get released and Christmas shopping for dear ones begin. THis year, it’s the Dior palette and the Swarovski pendant that caught my eye.

I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskinca I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskincare Aura Manuka Honey Mask. It blew my mind away! Soothes skin. Boosts hydration and just makes you feel like you have the best skin ever! Not kidding. If you have a spot or irritated skin, it calms it down and helps get rid of your spots too. Honey is anti bacterial after all, so it’s a great multitasker.
I also love the Manuka Honey Skin brightening Day Cream. It’s light but creamy and sinks into the skin. I’ve reviewed them both on the blog in the past. If you run a search for Antipodes, you’d also notice how much I love the brand! 😁
I’m super late with this but if you’re planning to purchase any of these 3 Manuka honey items from TNS Skinlab, the code MYWSTUFF10 will give you an extra 10% off (until tomorrow 31 Dec) I highly recommend grabbing the Aura mask. You’ll never want to be without (I always have a backup!)
Thanks for the gift @tnsskinlab and I must apologise for my tardiness 😩 I’ll learn to cope better from next week!
Now I have to scuttle and write my year end musings. Some traditions must be kept! 😜

It’s my first year doing retail and honestly, I’d never been so busy! The year-end rush is unreal! But busy is good, right? At least that’s what I tell myself 😂
While I pack up gift boxes of treats for doggies 🐶 (I’ve tied so many ribbons I’ve finally started to get it right!) #loccitanemalaysia makes it easy to shop for humans 😅 at experienceloccitane.com with their L’Occitane en Demande service. Place your order, and pick up in store or have it delivered.
Had a bit of breather today and put together a little video. Blink and miss my little monster 🐶 helping me shop! Not sponsored but I did receive a gift from L’Occitane, for which my sun-exposed, dry dog-walking skin thanks you!
Haven’t done any Christmas shopping this year. It has only just struck me that it’s but mere days away! 😨 Have you done yours?
