October is the twilight of the year, where the old will soon meet the new. It is when the autumn’s leaves grace the grass, when the souls come to roam about us, and when the moon waxes and wanes with the softest of amber lights.
It is also the time of reckoning for many students embarking upon the quest of knowledge… Good luck to all!

Octobers remind me of Octoberfest! All the sausages and beer ^__^ A little unladylike I know but it was one of the more enjoyable times of my Uni years. That and I had a german boyfriend who made it his sole responsibility to educate me in the happy ways of the Deutschlanders ^___^

Well, october reminds me of this childhood favourite disney book i had. The book was about months, and my fav page was October, Mickey, under a pile of golden red leaves, was with his nephews, who were shoveling more leaves on him.
and all i could wish for was to have a chance to jump into a pile of fresh, dried, crisp leaves.

October = Time for me to slowly move away from my work load, kick back my shoes and start finding time to relax and unwind. More “me” time – for self-indulgence. Time to look forward to year-end holidays & sales, festive season (Christmas!!) and time to catch up with my beloved girlfriends (back to M’sia for year-end holidays).
Ah… bliss!

I have been a student in the UK for the past 3 years and I missed 3 mooncake festivals with my family. Now that I have finally graduated and back home in Malaysia I can finally celebrate mooncake festival with my family. So October this year for me is special as I will be able to spend it with my loved ones. However, this October will extra special if my dear brother(who is in Nottingham) will be able to come back to celebrate Mooncake festival together. 🙂
