Do we remember my little review of the new Lumiere Cosmetics makeup brushes? Were you chaffing at the bit to get at them?
Well, 2 very lucky readers could win themselves either the Kabuki brush or the 9 piece brush set! Loving Minerals has generously sponsored these 2 lovely brushes/sets so here’s what you have to do to win.
[note]
Tell us one brush that you currently need and what you look for in a makeup brush.
e.g. I need a fluffy blush brush because my MAC129SE is scratching me silly and I look for softness and precise application.
Update: Please read the full requirements or risk disqualification.

The contest runs until 21 May 2009 (12 noon) and is only open to readers in Malaysia and Singapore. Winners of the 2nd Anniversary Giveaway and the Mother’s Day Giveaway are excluded. Winners will be drawn by lucky draw and first name out of the hat gets the 9 piece brush set, and the 2nd name out of the hat gets the kabuki brush.
If you win and I see your email address in the email subscription list, I’ll throw in a couple of extra freebies for you when I send the prize! 😉

Good luck!

What a better way to start of with Lumiere Brushes! My brushes( 3 to be exact) are from China cause i couldn’t afford good ones like Mac,so yeah, its pretty harsh considering it’s not that soft to begin with.Foundation brushes play a really big role in my life haha (spots and all)so yeap, would like to try something else for a change!Soft applicable brushes, hmmm 🙂

I need a skunk brush even though I already have one. I currently use the existing one for liquid foundation but it also works beautifully with pigmented mineral blushes. I look out for brushes that long lasting and preferably brushes that have more than 1 use.

The one brush i currently need is powder brush because i don’t have any.
i look for brushes that pick up just enough product so that my application is not too thick or too thin=)

I need a powder brush because I use only loose powder for my makeup, and I need a travel-friendly brush! 🙂
I look for convenience, softness so that it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and of course, dense bristles for better application.

I need a eyeshadow brush with synthetic bristles to apply cream shadow. I usually look for brushes that are soft and fluffy, with sturdy handles.

I need these brushes please…. i’ve read and heard good comments about them that i would love to own them. Besides, my own blusher brush is starting to lose the bristles, time to get new ones… why not win one!!

I would love to have the whole travel Brush Set but if its only one choice of a brush, an eyeliner brush is what I need right now. Brushes for me need to be soft that they don’t scratch but yet firm enough to deliver the product to the right place. Preferably synthetic too =D

I currently need a blush brush. I am using hand-me-downs from mom and it’s shedding all the time. 🙁
I look for firmness, softness and not scratchy cos my skin will react badly to scratchy brushes. I would like to own these cos they are synthetic brushes. I personally prefer synthetic ones as they feel cleaner and softer, for my sensitive skin.

i need all the brushes since i do not have any good quality brushes and i look for quality and softness.

I believe to achieve the flawless and perfect makeup is all about blending, using a good quality and correct makeup tool. I need a kabuki brush simply because my present brush makes my face itchy and I have been hearing that this brush has compact, full and soft head that most importantly won’t irritate my skin and can yet provide full coverage.

i need another travel powder brush for daily touch-ups… i’ve only got one now and it’s getting tired of being transferred around my handbags!
and i’m always looking for soft brushes with well thought-out, functional designs. and of course made with care, so they don’t shed or bleed incessantly!

Right now, I really really want a lip brush! Coz my concealer brush cannot be used to brush on lip colors! It’s too thick!
vivavoomz says
I need a blending/contour brush because I just realised the importance of blending eyeshadows and I don’t have one. I’ve always thought packing on eyeshadow was enough but blending helps to soften edges and blends colours into gradations.

Dear Paris B,
I had been lemming for a Synthetic Kabuki Brush since I had newly discovered the joys of Mineral foundations 🙂 Thanks!

My face skin wants a comfortable and smooth brush set.

I would love to own an eye shadow brush as it will be great if I can learn how to blend my colours properly. Currently using my finger tips only.
And best of all, a travel set to create the travel look *dreamy*.

i need a complete set of make up brush because..i don’t own any for myself!..sometimes, make up application with finger tips, sponge and Q tip doesn’t really give nice finishing..*sob*sob*…..(“,)

I’m interested in the 9 piece brush set as I do not have any decent brushes to apply make up with. I’m particularly interested in the blush brush for applying blush and contouring 🙂
I enjoy reading your posts because they’re very amusing and at the same time helpful 🙂 Keep up the awesome job~!
