I’ve used up some products recently, and it’s opportune to share what I thought about them after finishing them to the last drop, as there were a couple that didn’t quite blow me away. Yet, they didn’t quite merit a post on their own, if you get what I mean.
There was one that surprised me, as it sort of grew on me the more I used it. Wasn’t impressed initially, but by the end of its life, I was happy enough with it that I was contemplating repurchasing! 🙂
Continue ReadingI recently came across a cute little video on Instagram (can’t remember the account, so sorry! It was something that popped up on the Explore page). It was a girl showing just how much skincare product we should be using on our faces.
I found it relevant, because when she showed how much sunscreen you’re supposed to use, I smiled. It’s about as much product as I use. In fact, it’s a little less than I usually use, but for most people, it would be a better guide than most.
This was such an easy guide, I had to share it with you! 🙂
Continue ReadingI was always an indoors person. Never very sporty or outdoorsy. It was easier for me to look after my skin then. Staying indoors is generally better for your skin, because of the reduced UV and sun exposure.
But then, I got a dog and all hell pretty much broke loose LOL!
Having a dog comes with many responsibilities, and one of them is daily walks. That meant I was being moved out of my comfort zone, and out into the sun.
Initially, I wasn’t paying much attention to my skin. I’d rush through my morning skincare routine, slap on any ol’ sunscreen, and head out the door with puppers.
But as time went by, I noticed my skin was becoming more dry, dull and my pigmentation had gotten worse. I knew I had to do something.
Continue ReadingI’ve tried 2 of Dr Sam’s products prior to this (Flawless Cleanser and Flawless Moisturiser), and I’ve enjoyed them both.
When I saw she also had the Dr. Sam’s Flawless Daily Sunscreen, I was curious enough to pick up a bottle, even though I already have my favourite sunscreen, and am usually loathe to try something new.
But it’s a SUNSCREEN! And I’m always curious about sunscreen.
This especially also because I have a soft spot for Dr. Sam Bunting. I enjoy watching her videos. Her voice is soothing, and her advice often makes sense, without shoving it in your face as many do.
So, might I have found a brand new sunscreen to love? 🙂
