Ah 2 of my favourite brands come together in this giveaway of some very fun items just for you! You know I love my Guerlain lipsticks and since not everyone is into intense, opaque colour for lips the way I am, you get to win yourself a Shine Automatique lipstick instead. Remember when I talked about sheer lipsticks? I mentioned these! And for you also are a pair of mini Dior polishes in very pretty, summery colours to brighten your day or winter maybe if you buck the Fall/Winter trends.

1. I follow quite afew TV series but my favorites are Walking Dead (season 4,whoo!), Revenge, Pretty Little Liars, Two broke girls and HIMYM! These are must watches for me as I love the suspense..and also comedy (two broke girls and HIMYM). Its really relaxing to kick back and unwind at the end of a work day.
2. I enjoy reading about your opinion on things, like BB cream, beauty myths..etc. and reviews on drugstore and high-end make up products! Your reviews have influenced me to try out and purchase new things, and explore new brands. 🙂

1. I’m watching Masterchef US – love this series because apart from the great delicious food candy on TV, it showcases homecooks who really know their stuff! Plus my kids think I should enter as a contestant! Haha…
2. I love reading reviews of sunblocks and also makeup tips, especially those that don’t take up a lot of time 🙂

1) I have been obsessed with Revenge, Scandal and my guilty pleasure, Pretty Little liars, hehe…All highly entertaining and full of suspense. Oh, and for comedy, I HIGHLY recommend The Mindy Project.
2) Product reviews!!! I always find your reviews written very thoroughly and in depth. Love them! 🙂

I’m not watching any TV series at the moment. With the 2 boys around, you can’t watch anything peacefully, why bother watching any at all.
I enjoy reading the product reviews or introduction on new products in the market. I would like to read more on food and travel.

1) I am watching Oshin, Cosby Show, Golden Girls and Roseanne…..i know, i know. I’m old.
2) Reviews on products, their pros and cons, and where to get them and your experience on caring for your skin. I find such posts benefitial and I enjoy reading view from your readers too. So, thank you!

1) Actually I am watching Shameless now. It is a series about a dysfunctional family and the father is high all the time. The children are left to fend for themselves and most of them work to supplement the family income. The eldest daughter has to give up her dreams to help the family make ends meet and to take care of her brothers and sisters.
It is a must watch because it reflects the current family unit. We have to take care so that our families are not dysfunctional.
2) I enjoy reading news and current affair blogs.

I’m not much of a tv fan so I don’t follow any series. I’d end up missing many in between!
I’m into baking so food blogs are my thing. But I also gravitate towards health and natural product tutorials from blogs.

1) The Blacklist. Love love love James Spader since the days of Boston Legal. Am keeping my fingers crossed that this new show of his will have a good long run!
2) Love the Save and Splurge series as you give a fair and balanced head to head comparison of bang for the buck products.

NCIS is an absolute must see/follow for me. I watched it from Season 1 and it is now in Season 11. No, not for Micheal Weatherly’s Anthony DiNozzo but rather Mark Harmon’s character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs. (I know this discloses my age group..) The script is punchy and tight. Well developed characters. Gibbs is so cool. A real man’s man without having to flash any chest hair or muscles. Great one liners and the piercing freeze enemy look.. yum!
I would highly recommend watching it – ideally from Season 1 to see how the characters developed and grew.
MWS is the only blog I really read and follow. The skin care and make up updates are what I am interested in because your reviews help me cut to the chase and zoom in on the relevant stuff. Once a while you do throw in something different so that breaks you away from accusations of “run of the mill”. I would say please continue with what you are doing because “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. In simpler terms, keep blogging what you are blogging.

I. I’m watching Hannibal, Criminal Minds, House M. D. and Sons of Anarchy. Sort of a tom-boy list there, ha. I love thrillers peppered with some forensics and bad-assery. Coven (American Horror Story) looks nice, but I haven’t been able to watch it yet.
II. Like everyone else, I already love what you’ve been sharing (: I look forward to posts about beauty gadgets — like those nifty home IPL machines, or microdermabrasion kits! I would love to hear your thoughts on skincare as well be it Save or Splurge.

1. For ongoing shows, I watch Mad Men and Game of Thrones. Both fun for different reasons–Mad Men for the period porn and wonderful character arcs they’ve been building up since season 1, and Game of Thrones because I love the backstabbery and completely unexpected plot twists. For shows that have finished, I definitely recommend Breaking Bad if you haven’t watched it.
2. I love all of your writing! 🙂 But definitely I love your makeup reviews the most, especially luxury brands that I would be too shy to try out at the department store myself. When I’m on the fence over a certain product that I heard of and too intimidated to go try it out/ask for a sample, I just search if you did a review for the same product and take your word for it. I bought the Camellia compact from Shiseido that way 🙂

The ONLY TV series I follow is “The Walking Dead” – I like to see all the zombie figures haha! And I always wonder how they film the parts where someone stabs or whacks or shoots the head of one of the zombies and blood spurts out – I mean, do they have a whole lot of “mannequins” (I presume they are) which have these red liquid-filled “heads” that they use for the filming??
I’d love to see more reviews of lower-end/drugstore-type products, cos I’m not a person who can afford stuff from Dior, Chanel, Guerlain and the likes, definitely not on a “regular” basis 🙂

1.Are you watching/following any TV series and if so, is it a must watch?
I love watching series but I don’t really follow episodes chronologically except for How I Met Your Mother, Perception and The Big Bang Theory. Others that I watch are Criminal Minds, The Listener, and Arrows.
2. What kinds of blog posts do you enjoy reading the most OR what would you like to read more of on MWS going forward?
I do love your reviews, keep up the good work PB! Yes, I’d love more comparisons A vs. B stuff from you 🙂
thank you!

Hi Paris B. I’m not entering the contest as I don’t use nail polish. I just want to drop by and say how kind and generous you are. Love your reviews. Best of luck !

Right now I’m following quite a few series. However, one series that I can’t wait to start again is Doctor Who. It is the longest running sci fi show. Fact. Ha~. I haven’t watched any of the Classic Who Series, but I am definitely in love with the New Who. This series is filled with a lot of feels. Like seriously. A main character(I won’t say hero) who is both capable of the greatest sacrifice and who could also be incredibly childish as well. He is so old… And he has seen a lot of things. Things that could make a person cry or bring them the greatest joy. Seriously.
Another series that I would recommend to anyone who asks is Sherlock. Oh Sherlock. Again. A lot of feels. But how can one expect differently when Steven Moffat is in charge of both shows? Moffat!(shakes fist)
I really really like it when you review beauty products. I guess the colours attract me? Lol. And also, like the way that you write your review. It always sound so reasonable. Haha.

1) Don’t watch TV 🙂 I could never find the time.
2) I like to read beauty related blogs. It can be product reviews, FOTD or new colour swatches, does not matter.

Hey Paris,
I’m not really a TV person but if there is any nice Hong Kong TVB drama , i will definitely watch it. The latest one i watched was Triumph In The Skies II, love it !
I really enjoy reading all your posts especially your product reviews and tell you what ! I had purchased quite many products after reading your reviews.. Hahaha.. Your reviews are just so convincing and most of the time i like those things like how you like them too! However, it will be great if you can have more posts relating to lifestyle or travelling as i really love to read them. ^_^

1. I am not watching any series right now, but will probably start on the latest season of Criminal Minds when i have the time.
2. I enjoy reading your product reviews – make up & skincare alike, esp if those products are of the mid-range priced and can be found easily. That way i can go and grab one to try it myself!

This final giveaway is right up my alley, so I have to try my luck!
I am an avid fan of “The Good Wife” and “Scandal”, two series featuring strong women with attributes I wish I had more of – facing personal and career challenges with fortitude and equanimity, mirroring the real-life challenges of real women. The scripts are exceptionally well-written, the plots heart-warming and intriguing in equal measure and the characters full of depth. “Suits” also had me glued to the TV on Mondays while its run was on, not to mention repeats on weekends, to catch every word of dialogue. Can’t wait for the new season of all three series to resume. Current shows that I follow with fervent interest are Masterchef and Amazing Race – for education, entertainment but certainly not emulation.
My favourite blogs feature reliable content in line with specific areas of interest – health, beauty, self-improvement, family life – particularly those of bloggers who have earned the distinction of appearing in other media. Here’s looking at you, PB!

I’m watching the Korean drama, Master’s Sun. A funny and refreshing rom-com, it’s about a woman who got the ability to see ghosts after waking up from a coma and how she meet the guy who can ward off the ghosts when she touches him.
I enjoy reading the Save and Splurge articles the most. I won’t mind more reviews on bath products, hehe..
