No. 5 already! Might this be the last one?
Celebrate October Giveaway No. 5 gives you a treat for the eyes, lips and face with a makeup base, fluttery lashes with mascara and a lovely pout with a lovely lip colour that’s wearable daily. I knew most of you wouldn’t dare flaunt the reds so I kept it simple, but included a brand new item from the Shiseido Fall Collection in the form of a golden gloss, so you can jazz up your lips for the coming party season!
A little bit about my Celebrate October Giveaways for the newbies amongst us. As a matter of principle, I don’t run many giveaways on my blog so I appreciate that those of you who do stop by, find the content interesting and useful and stay for the content. To thank you for your support throughout the year I try to find ways to reward you and these gift packs this year are my way of saying thank you. They all contain at least 1 personal favourite item which regulars will readily identify 😉
So, how do you go about winning this kit for yourself? Hopalong and find out.

I’ve finished a few books almost one after another because I read them all in parallel.
1. I can barely take care of myself by Jen Kirkman. She’s hilarious and appeals to my childfree self because she has managed to put my thoughts into print. Highly recommended.
2. Lean UX by Jeff Gothelf for work. Fascinating how software projects are being written. Gone are the horrible waterfall methods and here comes Agile. Recommended if you’re into UX and usability and planning to run a project the Agile way.
3. Before and after getting your puppy by Ian Dunbar. Rereading this because this is a bible for puppy raising. And raising a furkid isn’t easy.
4. What every Intranet team must know: James Robertson. Not bad but not as meaty a book as I thought it would be.
I usually use your comment box. I’m not sure why I don’t gravitate towards the social media side of things..

It’s October and it’s officially Halloween month and my pick is the good old typical True Singapore Ghost Stories Book 23! In fact, I recommend horror stories lovers to read the whole collection from Book 1 to Book 23!

The last book I read was the Harry Potter series- it’s been a long time I know!
I prefer the comment box simply because I am not very actie on the social media

Hi Paris,
1 the last book I read was: Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, a true classic, highly reccomended :).
2 Honestly I use to read blog at work, instead of a coffe break, but I prefer not comment because it could take too much time (expecially if I have to write in English), but I can use facebook with my phone, so it’s more likely the I have time also to comment.
Love from Italy

1. The last book I (re)read was Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury! I’m in love with his writing because it just blends poetry and prose so seamlessly. Dandelion Wine, which is a series of loosely connected short stories, presents what is almost a dreamscape and explores trying to capture the brightness of youth and summer, and to stopper it it all in a bottle. It’s surreal and heartwarming all at once. 🙂
2. I’m way more inclined to interact through a comment box! Call me an old fogey but I’m not exactly social media savvy, so I just don’t go on social media sites much (read: at all).

1. Thierry Hertoghe’s “The Hormone Solution”.
Would highly recommend it for all women of any age group – hormones RULE, literally.
2. Not a social media fan so most likely to respond through comment box.
