Win! 2 Bottles of Aupres Ultimate White Extra Intensive Spot Serum worth RM150 each

March 27, 2013 Paris B

Aupres, if you remember, is a new brand under the umbrella of Japanese cosmetics giant, Shiseido. I’d told you about it being launched here last year. Malaysia is, I believe, still the only country outside of China that carries this brand at time of writing. I do stand to be corrected of course 🙂

We don’t hear a lot about this new brand and for now, the counters are only found in the Klang Valley, but I’m sure we’ll see them branch out to other states soon. But until they do, thanks to the generosity of the folks at Aupres Malaysia, I have here 2 bottles of the Ultimate White Extra Intensive Spot Serum worth RM150 each to be given away to 2 very lucky readers! 😀 Here is Part 4 of the rather epic MWS 6th Anniversary Giveaway series 😀

The product works to reduce the formation of dark spots, treat existing dark spots while helping moisturise and brighten the skin. I haven’t tried it myself but hey, 2 of you can 😉 To find out how to win yourself a bottle, head on below.

I was going to keep this within the country but what the hey, its open worldwide 😀

Thank you for the opportunity! I would loooove to win this, I really need a serum like this in my routine! 😉

I think my dream destination is maybe Tokyo!!
And you did influence me to buy the DiorSnow Wipe-Off Gel and it didn’t really work for me, it kind of broke me out! :\ But I did realise why you liked it, I mean, except for the pimples, it did gently exfoliate my skin and left it pretty! xx

I wish I can go Turkey. Man… that place looks totally different from Malaysia. It’s beautiful <3 in fact, everywhere is beautiful too…

I have been influence to purchase beauty product from Strawberry.net instead of just product itself. That was the first time i dare to purchase product online after I have email you, Paris B on the reliability. Then, I fell in love with Anna Sui product. Seriously, it's so cool to know this blog. I've learn a lot. At least, things to know like the Burberry lipstick that changed in odour in less than a year really shows me experience i never heard before. Like high end product and quality stuff. Anything can happen! =)

Where is your dream destination to visit? I’d love to visit all parts of Asia, but to make it interesting, I’d love to visit Thailand or Vietnam. I find there is so much history that makes the countries so incredibly traditional. Of course, I’d love to eat all their food!
Have you been influenced to purchase anything reviewed or talked about here on MWS and if so, what was it and did it work for you? Yes! I actually purchased the Laura Mercier Secret Camoflauge concealer. It works consistently well, even when my other concealers don’t perform :p

I would love to visit Paris one day.

I remembered the first ever product you influenced me into getting is the Kiehl’s Ultimate White Surface Brightening Exfoliator. Didn’t really test it at the store, just asked a friend to get it for me. Thank god, I liked it to bits.

    1. My dream destination is to Italy and have a culinary tour there. Nom nom.
    2. Yes, lots of times LOL. I like your choice of sunscreen and they work well on me most of the times: Kose Sekkisei, Biore UV Aqua, Shiseido Perfect. I love them all.

Wow, Paris, that’s sweet of you to have such a giveaway… Well, my dream destination will be New Zealand, probably influenced by LOTR movies, lol! I was just too fascinated with the nature view of the country…
I did influenced by your review on Laneige Brightening Sun Powder last year , and did get one for myself. It works on me, just that my friends told me that I look pale with this powder on. I should have put some blusher on, hehe…

My dream destination is Japan! Particularly Kyoto for its sights and Osaka for takoyaki :p

The review on Yves Rocher cleansing milk sounded quite promising since I don’t really like using cleansing oils (Shu Uemura gave me pimples >..< It is also not as viscous as I like it to be so I'm finding ways of disposing it now =(

Paris! My big regret of studying in the UK was not stepping out of the country when I had the opportunity. It could be overrated but I want to at least have the chance to say that it’s overrated 😛

As for enabling, hello? So much of my makeup and shopping list in Malaysia were influenced by you! How many tins of Meteorites do I have again? I vaguely remembered saying I wouldn’t get anymore. Ahem 😛

Lets see. My dream destination will be the safari in Africa. I can bring my kid to see all those animals in their natural habitat rather than in cages of the zoo.

Since i’m into skincare, a major disappointment on Diorsnow White Reveal Wipe-Off Gel that i purchased last year. Somehow there is no whitening/brightening effect for me. 🙁 Till today the bottle is still in my cabinet and it will continue to be there…..

Many thanks for all the awesome giveaways!

    1) Dream Destination : NEW YORK, USA.

    2) influenced to purchase : I am a sucker for all whitening lotions. serum or cream. (What to do? trying to minimize dark spots and look as fair as possible) I did buy the Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Night Full Spectrum Brightening Moisture Creme and I am glad I did, cause I am really happy with results so far….

Thanks for the opportunity once again!

I would love to go London and shop for Cath Kidston! ( I’m a flower child)

It was that time of the year when you’re about to reach the big 40 and you realised your current cleanser is not doing any good, I went to your blog to look for reviews of cleansers. You mentioned Sukin products and I was intrigued. Organic and cheap? I hunt for it and found a whole range of it here. (spore) I love it!! It’s very gentle and the rose hip oil is like a miracle in a bottle. The facial cleanser is divine and I’m using the whole range now from masque to moisturisers. Thank you for reviewing it.

    Hi there Paris 🙂

    1. My dream destination would be TOKYO! I so so sooooooo want to go to that Wisteria Tunnel. Pictures I’ve seen online about that place is just so breath taking I think I will faint 1000 times if I went there. Haha! Lets hope I wont faint tho, cause it would be a waste to go to such a beautiful place only to faint.. LOL

    2. I think I have made a purchase after reading your review. One I can remember was the DIor Addict Lip Glow. Owh and another Dior lipstick. One from the Rouge Dior Nude Lip Blush collection. You are such an enabler..haha

My dream destination would be to travel around Europe!

Yes, you are quite influential to me when it comes to skincare. I bought the 24H Hydration Gel Creme from Yves Roucher, ahem..along with the serum after reading your reviews. I have only just started to use it but so far so good. 🙂

Paris, The City of LOVE ! It’s the only place I’ve ever wanted to be ! The culture , the people , the art ! I love everything about Paris !

I’ll always check up on your blog for skin care update ! Seriously, no one want to spent their hard earn money on product that doesn’t work , so i will definitely check on your reviews before buying anything. I was influenced by your Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate Reviews ! It seems like you’ve been going on and on about this product, as you like to pair it with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair( which I’m in love with it too). I don’t mind mixing both product together but it’s a little bit too much for me. I kinda use it on rotation ,and both product works for me brilliantly ! When I need a little moisture boost I’ll use the Estee Lauder ANR , and when feel a little tense I’ll use Kiehl’s MRC (the lavender scent is just so relaxing!). I think this blog really helps me alot ! Thank you so much Paris !

    2. I admit, there have been quite a few purchases of mine that were influenced by your blog. Most notably, Guerlain meteorites 😛

An “I’ll be out all day and need my makeup to An “I’ll be out all day and need my makeup to stay on” look 😅 Super simple and using stuff I already own. How many do you recognise? 😅

For the base I think the key is the Nars setting powder which is basically a silica powder. Many brands have similar white powder for setting. I did this same look yesterday and it barely budged/faded by evening. Only lipstick needed a little topping up 😊

And this is about all the makeup I can handle these days 😂 no eye makeup cos I can’t be arsed 🤪
Been ages since I’ve gone to a big pasar malam ( Been ages since I’ve gone to a big pasar malam (night market). Popped by the one in SS2. Frenetic. Crowded. Lots of food and drink. Excellent good fun! 😆 Your eyes always want more than your stomach can handle. Ate a lot and bought even more food back home. Diet? What diet? 😂

Posting for posterity because I like this photo 😆 Also hello! 😜

It’s interesting that when I meet people they always ask me “Are you still blogging?” which tells me they don’t read my blog anymore (cos if they did they’d know I am lol! Weekly generally, but still writing) Yet I don’t blame them because a lot of social credit is placed on one’s Instagram presence. This I fear, is an area I am lacking. I pop in every now and then, share stories that are totally unrelated to what people follow me for, then wonder why they unfollow lol! Other times, spider webs gather in the corners of my unused account. I don’t blame them. Not everyone wants to know what my dogs are up to 😜

Anyway I make no apologies. It’s ok if you follow. It’s ok if you don’t. It’s ok if you’re interested in stuff I do. It’s ok if you’re not. Life goes on for both you and I and ultimately, we just both want it to be happy. So do what makes you happy 😊 I’ll still share my beauty finds and I still blog once a week. I may share what I’m up to from time to time, or I may not. I can tell you that I’m keeping busy and that I have a lot on my plate, none of it glamorous unlike that of most content creators/influencers. It’s too boring for most for me to share here so I’ll just share the good bits - as Instagram intended 😂

But if you want to find me, you’ll know how 😊

The review for the product is somewhere on the blog mywomenstuff.com
Yes I know many of you are terrified of lizards 🦎🫣

But I liked this sunscreen - for the body. Even though it left a white cast. Even though it is hard to remove. It kept my arms protected through a weekend of brutal sun exposure and I survived without burning! ✌🏻
