Fall in Love with Natalie Portman starring in Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet

“Make me a fragrance that smells like love” ~ Christian Dior

Gah! I love that quote! And for what its worth, I love Natalie Portman.

Whilst I’m not one to rush out and buy the first product I see endorsed by a celebrity, I was sorely tempted to run out and buy this because I love Natalie Portman, I absolutely LOVE the Miss Dior Cherie fragrance and I absolutely freaking love the new Miss Dior commercial shot by Sofia Coppola!! I’ve got the TVC below and its … sigh… love! That’s 3 delcarations of love in 1 sentence. Yes, I’m incoherent.

Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is the new incarnation of the Miss Dior Cherie fragrance that I have and that I love because I feel so beautiful wearing it. I have not sniffed the Blooming Bouquet version but I’m told that its very light with a white musk scent, quite in keeping with the love theme infused throughout the print and TVC ad campaign.

I didn’t see the critically acclaimed Black Swan and I do wonder if the gorgeous black Dior dress she wears in the Miss Dior ads are a tongue in cheek nod to her Oscar winning role. The ad isn’t dark though – its very light, very sweet and very romantic.

If Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is anything like it, I’m sold.

Enjoy the commercial. I did 🙂

Oh did you see her dress? Ahh… love… sigh… At least we know its a Dior creation (which means for us mortals, we won’t be seeing it hanging in our cupboard any time soon). Double sigh….

Have you smelt this one? I haven’t, so I can’t say how it compares to the one I own. I might have to check it out the next time I’m at Duty Free. Maybe it’ll, y’know snag me a cute little boy in a tux, waiting in a lovely garden with gorgeous blooming peach roses 😉

Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet retails at RM235/50ml and RM340/100ml and is available at all Dior counters

I didn’t notice if they have it at the counters yet but I’ve been using Dior’s Forever & Ever for years. I used Cherie some time ago and love the bubbly, young scent. If Blooming Bouquet is anything like either of these perfumes, I’m sold 🙂

Hey, I sniffed it yesterday and it is quite close to Cherie, with more floral notes. It’s quite a pretty scent 🙂

    I love Natalie Portman too…
I know exactly how you feel and I DIDN’T like the Miss Dior Cherie fragrance.
Many fragrance ads are all saucy but this one’s sexy yet innocent. At least it’s a more realistic kind of romance (except for the Dior dress and the impossibly cute guy) rather than say… driving a fast car then being trashed around by some dude you met in a bar

HAHA I’m not sure which ad you’re refering to but an ad like Gucci Flora, I don’t get. What’s a woman doing tai chi in a field of flowers got to do with a fragrance?!

Btw I use the original Miss Dior Cherie & love it to bits! 😉

Yay for another Miss Dior Cherie fan! 😀 I’m told Miss Dior Cherie will be rebranded to just Miss Dior in time.

Yeah! I wonder which they used eh? I also noticed they winged her eyeliner like Kate Moss in the Dior Addict ad 🙂

Definitely a nod to her role in Black Swan! Did you see the swan make an appearance as well? Lol.

I’m so tempted to get this just because of Natalie Portman. Love love love her! 🙂
