While we are on the subject of Dior, just look at that palette pictured above. Isn’t that a piece of art?
Leaving colours aside, I am so bowled over by the design that I’m sitting here slack jawed ever since I stumbled on it online today.
Can you imagine ever using this one? Argh! Why do cosmetic companies do this? Make pieces of art they perceive to be wearable but who in their right mind will swipe this one? Well, maybe me if I close my eyes and dip my fingers in quickly 😛
But I’m just stunned at the intricate print and the subtle shading of color in something of this size.
The Limited Edition Tailleur Bar Palette sells as a set with a pink Dior Serum de Rouge lipstick that matches the cool shades of the eyeshadow palette, and will go sale in Selfridges, London in very limited quantities for GBP65 on 2 August 2010.
Let me check if we will be sniffing this out in Malaysia at any time. 🙂 Do check out BritishBeautyBlogger if you’d like to see a picture of the real thing. It actually looks way more wearable in the picture of the actual product.

I don’t think I’ll ever use it. Is Mac To The Beach collection launched in Malaysia? Go and have a look at Marine Life highlight powder. It’s so pretty that I couldn’t get myself to buy it because I know I won’t be using it in the end *lol*

i will buy it in a tick!!! that’s an art not makeup! it’s tacky to the max but it’s a collectable! i probably will still use it after i get sick of staring at it. but is it a face powder or can i use it on my eyes? if so, it will be a stunning eye palette for sure.
i stay away from dior’s tacky lip pandants but something like this makes me want to grab it off my screen. why don’t we have it in malaysia? i’d ask my SIL to grab one for me!
