Talika Lipocils Expert Lash Growth Serum comes to town!

I’m sure many of you have heard of French brand Talika before this. They are popular for eye care products and the Talika Lipocils lash serum is their star product for helping condition lashes and help them “grow”. We did not have Talika Lipocils here in Malaysia before, but now we do, at selected department stores from April 2010.

With their arrival in Malaysia, Talika also launches their new improved Talika Lipocils Expert lash growth serum at the same time as the rest of the world so we aren’t left out of the action. Hoorah!

Owner of Talika Paris, Mr. Alexis de Brosses flew into KL specially from Paris about 2 months ago to launch this new brand and product amidst adorable cupcakes and drinks made up in the signature Talika blue colour. I love how he said “Li-po-seel” in that lovely French accent 😉 I used to call it “Lai-po-sil” but no longer! “Li-po-seel” is so much more elegant.

Talika Lipocils Expert boasts an improved formula for conditioning your lashes and to help them grow longer, darker and curlier. 3 things a woman wants in her eyelashes, Mr. Alexis contends. There is also an improved brush for application, that comes with a sponge tip at the end as you see above. I’ll explain why this is so, and show you some before and after photos below.

My Beauty Diary Masks and my shopping experience at Sasa.com

So there’s all this hype about My Beauty Diary sheet masks from Taiwan and I was curious. I was surfing Sasa.com where I saw there was a set on offer – Blooming Mini Set (US$16). I also saw that Sasa.com now takes paypal on top of the regular credit cards. Armed with a free shipping code (woohoo!) I ordered a set to test out Sasa’s online service and to get something new to try.

Here’s the set I got. It contains:-

4 pieces of Red Vine Mask
4 pieces of Mixed Berry Mask
1 piece of Platinum NanoColloid Mask
1 small tube of Skin79 Super+ BeBlesh Balm BB cream. I’m no fan of BB Cream but I’ll give this one a whirl.

Tell me quickly which item you want me to try and review first? Masks are easy things to review because its use and throw and if it doesn’t work the first time, it won’t work any other time LOL…

Will you go bald for charity?

I heard on the news on Sunday about a group of people who voluntarily went bald for charity. It was a project by World Vision to raise money to help the indigenous people of Sabah have an education and to fund a mobile library to increase the levels of literacy. 50 people pledged to go bald and among them were many young people, young women included.

Made me think.

Demi Moore went bald for her role in G.I. Joe Jane. Natalie Portman went bald for V for Vendetta. They both look great with or without hair – they already have strong beautiful features.

But would I go bald?
