Skinz Infinite Eye Revive Therapy – Eye cream with UV Protection

February 26, 2010 Paris B 27 Comments

We all know about putting sunscreen on the face but the perennial question that arises is always – is there sunscreen for the eyes?

My answer when asked is usually “I don’t know” – there aren’t many sunscreens with texture light enough for the eyes, nor are there many eye creams with SPF or UV protection.

So, when I come across one, I thought I’d better tell you about it 🙂

Skinz Infinite Eye Revive Therapy is its name.

Where do you find it? At major pharmacies at a wallet friendly price of RM45.90/15ml! Now isn’t that just fantabulous? 😀

The Eye Revive Therapy is an eye cream with “natural sunscreen derived from plant sources to protect the eye contour against harsh UV rays“. Fascinating. I googled one of the main ingredients – porphyra umbilicalis extract and found that is an extract of a type of seaweed/algae that can help protect against UV rays. But let’s just say that Biology was not one of my best subjects in school so I can’t tell you just how effective it is 😛 Actually it was but we didn’t study UV lights and seaweed 😛

The Eye Revive Therapy is part of the Skinz Infinite range of skincare products – an anti aging line of products to help you keep your skin looking younger and brighter, they tell us. The target age group is those from 25 upwards as they say that its a preventative measure.

Yes, if you are wondering, its Malaysian made by a Malaysian company. If you watch Hong Kong TVB movies, you will recognize their spokeswoman Charmaine Sheh who fronts their TV commercials and print ads. I don’t so I didn’t recognize her 😛

The Hydraplenish Glacier Toner actually smells quite nice. It smells of fresh roses so I might want to try playing with that for a bit.

So what d’ya think. Shall I take the Eye Revive Therapy for a trial run? I’ve only just looked at it so far. I might trial it if I get enough yays LOL…

Shiseido also has an eye cream with pretty high SPF. 🙂 Haven’t tried it myself, but I’ve read some good reviews about it. 🙂

I bought the whole range recently from Watson, convinced by d ambassador Charmaine (I like her acting!). Results are pretty good for skincare at that price point. Best if there is night cream, mask or scrub.

Hello~! I’ve been using it for 5 months and it does give a very good results for me. The eye is excellent too. I’ve always been told that although that we’re still young, it doesn’t mean we should avoid using skin aging stuff. prevention is better than cure. Preventing wrinkles or any aging skin should that from a young age.
