How quickly the week flies by! Here we are on a Saturday again – Whew! Was it just last week I was choosing a new car? hehe…
First up though, a little rant. You may be seeing more obtrusive watermarks happening on future pictures/photos here on My Women Stuff. Some older pictures (and even text!) were stolen and my watermark chopped off purportedly to advertise a product. If you see local blogs selling bag organizers with a picture of a messy bag and the text “Where in the world is my phone??” on it, the picture is mine and it was from my post about bag organizers. I’m going to seek a portion of profits if it doesn’t get taken down 😛
So, here’s fair warning to all readers about future pictures and I’m sorry if the watermarks spoil your viewing pleasure – I hope you don’t run away because of that 😀 Props to Nancy Drew Kahani for alerting me to the theft via Twitter so I knew immediately!
Now, onto happier things. I’m experimenting with some Freshlook coloured contact lenses this weekend. I’ve never really worn coloured contacts so it’ll be interesting to see if anyone notices or if its become the norm to have blue eyes 🙂
I’ve gotten a glimpse at the new Dior Serum de Rouge lipstick and its perfection in a lipstick! The colour I love most is #840 – Crimson Serum a cool toned RED red… but of course! Beautiful! I’m not sure if I still want the Guerlain Rouge G anymore …
And on the shopping front, L’Occitane has some GWP that looks quite attractive based on an email I received.

Mega sales are still going on and I got a flyer telling me that Tangs is on further reductions. One of the promotions was 30% off products on 70% discount. Erm… does that mean its free? 😀
Also at Tangs Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a sale on YSL Cosmetics at the YSL counter of up to 40% off. Read what I picked up at the previous YSL sale. So, go pick up your YSL Touche Eclat or YSL Golden Gloss for a steal!
If you’re a parent or rather not be tempted by YSL how about stocking up on reusable grocery bags at Tiny Tapir‘s stall at Bangsar Village and Soapy handmade soaps at the Parenthood Fair at Mid Valley Megamall (until Sunday 23 Aug 2009). If the potential crowds of young children and parents don’t scare me I might want to pick up more of these soaps at Buy 3 Free 1!

Oh that’s terrible that some one has stolen your pictures and text, I seriously don’t get why people does things like this, it’s so easy to credit the person who put in the hard work, which reminds me I should put watermark on all of my blog pictures.
Those L’Occitane Shampoo does look attractive 🙂 especially when it’s hanging off the tree like that hehe 🙂

Speaking about Tiny Tapir I had an awful shopping experience, the seller is not helpful and it took one month (I need to resend email to ask for status!) for her to get back on the shipping plus there none follow-up attempt. Very disappointed indeed.

Hi, i’m sorry you had a bad experience, i do not have an outstanding email on following up with orders so not sure which one you are referring to.
Generally (exception being this month where some notifications were delayed by 2 or 3 days even when they were sent earlier), we update shipping details when goods are shipped within 48 hours of payment (After we’ve figured out who has paid as sometimes we do not get email notification), unless there is a problem with the order such as an out of stock item, or a special request.
When shipping has been delayed for some reason on our part (unavoidable sometimes), we refund the shipping paid in part or in full to the customer.
If a customer did not receive their package, we have to rely on the customer to let us know, and it may take us some time to track it down and do the paperwork to find the missing package. This has only happened a handful of times out of our almost 1,000 orders sent this year.
We do our best, but if a package is sent via the local mail system… well, it’s out of our hands if something is lost by them.
If you would like to email me, i will organize to refund your shipping cost if it’s not already been done so.

I’ve been using Freshlook contact lenses ever since I was 15, from the handling tint (because I was still in high school) and now converted into coloured ones lol. I have tried the whole array of colours, but I found myself always go back to green, grey and amethyst 😛 Have fun with the contacts PB!

Well, since I was really writing about something different from what they were selling, it didn’t make sense for them to credit me! LOL… but they could just as easily bought a stock photo online or taken their own – lazy bums 😛 Thanks for your feedback about the Freshlook contacts! I’ll be sure to report how it goes in a bit 😀
