Day 15 : Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss Stick – Sunlit Coral

June 15, 2009 Paris B 15 Comments

Day 15 of the 30 lipsticks in 30 days project and we have something by Estee Lauder one of my long time favourite lipstick brands. Today we feature something new from Estee Lauder – the Pure Color Gloss Stick lipstick.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss Stick Lipstick – Sunlit Coral

Estee Lauder Sunlit Coral

This is a newly launched line of lipsticks in Estee Lauder. I purchased this on a whim recently to make a GWP tier – yeah silly I know but hey! It was a good GWP! 😉

The texture of the lipstick is rather tacky as in sticky. It goes on slightly sheer because its a gloss lipstick to cater for those who do not like lipsticks because of how pigmented they are. Well, this takes care of that problem. Its at once sheer yet pigmented enough to show up on your lips. There is the signature scent which does not bug me.

On the back of my hand, Sunlit Coral was a sheer coral. But on my lips, Sunlit Coral took on a lovely coral pink tone. The colour in the picture (swiped 2 times) is quite similar to how it looks on my lips. I reckon if your lips are more nude then it might show up more coral but I love the colour as it is!

estee lauder sunlit coral swatch

Shimmer is barely perceptible and it does look glossy on – not as glossy as a liquid gloss but certainly glossier than normal lipsticks. A tube retails at RM70 and you can see some other colours and some earlier thoughts here. I’m starting to think about checking out more colours!

Stay beautiful,

Paris B

I really like how soft the colour turned up on your lips. This is one of my fav from the lipsticks featured in your 30 days project.

Just out of interest, what was included in the GWP you were hankering after? 😉

I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskinca I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskincare Aura Manuka Honey Mask. It blew my mind away! Soothes skin. Boosts hydration and just makes you feel like you have the best skin ever! Not kidding. If you have a spot or irritated skin, it calms it down and helps get rid of your spots too. Honey is anti bacterial after all, so it’s a great multitasker.
I also love the Manuka Honey Skin brightening Day Cream. It’s light but creamy and sinks into the skin. I’ve reviewed them both on the blog in the past. If you run a search for Antipodes, you’d also notice how much I love the brand! 😁
I’m super late with this but if you’re planning to purchase any of these 3 Manuka honey items from TNS Skinlab, the code MYWSTUFF10 will give you an extra 10% off (until tomorrow 31 Dec) I highly recommend grabbing the Aura mask. You’ll never want to be without (I always have a backup!)
Thanks for the gift @tnsskinlab and I must apologise for my tardiness 😩 I’ll learn to cope better from next week!
Now I have to scuttle and write my year end musings. Some traditions must be kept! 😜

It’s my first year doing retail and honestly, I’d never been so busy! The year-end rush is unreal! But busy is good, right? At least that’s what I tell myself 😂

Place your order, and pick up in store or have it delivered.
Had a bit of breather today and put together a little video. Blink and miss my little monster 🐶 helping me shop! Not sponsored but I did receive a gift from L’Occitane, for which my sun-exposed, dry dog-walking skin thanks you!
Haven’t done any Christmas shopping this year. It has only just struck me that it’s but mere days away! 😨 Have you done yours?
