And just like that, September has come and gone in quite literally, a blink of an eye! While it’s felt, to me, like the past month was slowly plodding by, it’s also felt like it’s flown by. I’m not sure how that’s happened, but it has!
And we’re into a new installment of 5 Things I Love this month of September 2019. This has quickly become one of my favourite regular segments to compile, as it’s got a far more relaxed feel about it 🙂 I hope you enjoy it too! 😀
Continue ReadingIf you pop by the pharmacies, you may notice a cheery new brand on the shelves by the personal care aisle. Shampoo, conditioner, body washes and lotions, packaged in pastel labels with flowers all around.
The products are by a newcomer in the market, Love Beauty and Planet. Love Beauty and Planet is a new personal care brand by Unilever, and is more than just about nice-smelling products.
It carries also an eco-conscious message, that we don’t see much in mass brands.
Continue ReadingEarth Day 2019 has come and gone, and along with it, pledges of going green, separating and recycling waste, reducing the use of single-use plastics… often, platitudes.
There was a time when I’d mark these sort of ‘days’ and make these ‘pledges’, but no longer. I am honest with myself, and I will do what I can in my own little ways but I am not a green or eco warrior – not yet. Maybe never, because I’m honest and I will admit this to myself and to you. We all do what we can without ramming it down the throats of others.
However, I was at the launch of L’Occitane Malaysia’s Big Little Things recycling campaign, and I liked what I saw. I liked it enough that I’d tell you about it, because they appear to me to be more focused, more genuine, and more invested in the recycling cause for the reasons I’ll share below 🙂
