Will the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum and B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum send me to a euphoric high?

July 29, 2019 Paris B 16 Comments

Now, here’s a brand that’s quite a hot name in the skincare business now – Drunk Elephant. The curiously named brand that conjures up amusing images of inebriated pachyderms has fascinated me for a long time.

But I’ve always balked, because the prices are eye-watering.

So, when I spotted the Drunk Elephant Rise + Glow set, featuring minis of 2 products I’d most wanted to try from the brand, I pounced!

Although containing just 8ml of product each, it’s lasted me for 2 weeks and still counting. About enough time for me to figure out what I think of both these cult products, and whether I’ll splurge on the full sizes.

5 Things I Love Vol. 2: Bits and Bites

July 26, 2019 Paris B 15 Comments

I took a turn for the nostalgic last month, and hearkened back to the early days of blogging, when we’d share little random things in bite-sized pieces, because it was fun to. I enjoyed that, and apparently, so did many of you!

So, I’ve decided to make it a monthly feature – as regularly as I can remember to post LOL!

July 24, 2019 Paris B 14 Comments

I am, without doubt, a big fan of REN Skincare. Their products work well for me, and I like their aesthetic, formulation and packaging. Naturally therefore, when I first heard, months ago, that a sunscreen was being released, I was quite excited.

We know how I feel about sunscreen right? Yep, all day, everyday, no exceptions!

When the REN Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30 sunscreen dropped, I was conflicted. On the one hand, I was excited to see new mineral sunscreen in the market.

On the other hand, I found myself thinking “SPF30? Only 30??”

If you’re wearing the Chanel Sublimage Le Teint Foundation you will not need any photo filters!

July 22, 2019 Paris B 13 Comments

About 4 years ago, I was introduced to, and found my photoshop in a bottle. I raved about it to everyone who’d listen; and who wouldn’t faint dead away at the price tag LOL!

I was, and still am, very happy using it.

But a new contender stepped into the ring earlier this year, and quite quickly claimed the top spot.

The new King of the Hill in my books is the Chanel Sublimage Le Teint foundation. A beautifully formulated, creamy foundation that not only gives me the photoshop in a bottle, but leaves my skin feeling BETTER for wearing it.

What is this sorcery! 😀
