Insta-Updates: Feeling pixelated

September 20, 2012 Paris B 23 Comments

I believe this limited edition powder by Clarins came out last year but I missed it. I was originally told that it was not being brought in here, so I stopped hankering after it. But I later found out that it was, but it flew off the shelves before I could say “Me, please!”

clarins pixel powder

So it was with some glee that I saw this Clarins Color Definition 3D Radiance Face Powder pop up online and into my basket it went! 😀

I, for some reason, am reminded of Scrabble, instead of computer pixels which many have compared this powder to. See the pale beige scrabble letter tiles? The blue of the double word score and the red of the triple word score? Haha I guess I’m a word geek and less of a tech geek 😀

I don’t know if its worth doing a review of this, since it was limited edition and unavailable at the counters. If there’s interest, I might oblige, just for the fun of things. Do let me know 😉 I picked it up from my regular online shopping haunt (StrawberryNET.com(aff)) where I still see it in stock for anyone else interested 🙂

Did you get your paws on this one when it was first launched? Am I the only one seeing a Scrabble board? 😛

I was going to say just that! I used to be addicted to that game as a kid. Truth be told, if you let me play now I still would!

I second this! I’d love to know how it compares to Guerlain Meteorites. That way if Clarins comes up with something similar again I may give it a whirl.

This actually reminds me of one of those old mine games, where you have to control your character to pick up gems! :p

I think looks more like a crossword, it’s gorgeous, I remember when I saw it in a magazine.

Got my paws on this gold fingerprint magnet and its really stunning, kudos to clarins for the gorgeous powder, gold case, red velvet pouch, talk about luxury feeling *ahem* However, after using it quite awhile, you’ll see the pixel changes into other colors, let’s say, purple into red and it makes me wonder, how does they do that! It looks like they layered em color by color. Im intrigued if you dont mind to compare this with the meteorites.

Wow you have me intrigued, Juanneth! 😀 I have read that it works similarly to the Guerlain Meteorites so I will give it a try and see how it fares in comparison 😀
