Inglot Cosmetics was always at the edges of my consciousness. I’d come across the brand from reading various blogs and the news was always good. The problem is that Inglot as a brand is elusive! Other than its home country of Poland, we don’t hear or see many Inglot stores anywhere else in the world. My interest was most piqued by fellow enabler Tine when she blogged about trying an Inglot lipstick. I knew I had to have it!
She actually offered to pick me up one, but luckily it was about this time that I found out that Inglot Cosmetics is opening a store here in Malaysia. Yay! 😀
I’m told the Inglot Cosmetics store is going to be in Sunway Pyramid which is sadly for me, NOT a mall I’d readily visit since I don’t live nor work in or around the area. Boo! I do hope their next store or counter comes to KL city or I’d have to brave the horrendous traffic to get to Sunway 😛
I was however, invited to have a sneak peek at the products at the Inglot offices here last month so I have some pictures of some of the products for you! 😀 No thoughts on them, because there was no stock available yet. What you see in the photos below are all the stock there was available! So like you, I’d have to go to the Inglot store, if I want to try anything. Ready for loads of photos? Here we go! 😀
Since my interest had been piqued by the lip products, I naturally gravitated towards them. There are LOADS!
The texture varies from glossy to matte and there is a Slim Gel lipstick version too which is more moisturizing with sheerer texture. I swatched a few and I must say the colour selection is marvellous, and the texture is right up my alley. Lovely bright colours that I would wear! The matte versions did feel a bit dry going on my arm but we’ll have to see.
Selected swatches of Inglot lip products
One interesting item is this prismatic AMC lip gloss. Highly fascinating and I think it would be quite amazing on the lips, to transform lip colours 😀
Inglot AMC lipgloss
My next obsession is blush so that’s the next area I hit up. There are powder and cream blushes and also liquid blush in a pump.
Inglot AMC Face Blush
These reminded me of the HD liquid blushes from Make Up For Ever. I tried the texture and it was light and blended well. I might be interested to try that some day. Otherwise, the powder blush colours looked a little safe (for me) and tended to be matte. Still, I will check them out. I’ve got to show you this Multicolor System Highlighting Powder FEB.
Inglot Multicolor System Highlighting FEB powders
Interesting right? I’m told you swirl a brush over all the shades to use as highlighter or bronzer depending on the shades.
Eyeshadows! If you love eye colours, you’d love Inglot for their variety and range of colours! Did you see that first picture above? Look at the colours!
I was taken in by the very vibrantly coloured cream eyeliners. Yes, these are eyeliners! Dare you wear hot pink or bright yellow eyeliner? I’m not sure I would – I’m too old for this 😛 But I might be up to trying some of the “safer” colours.
Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel – look at those colours!
I liked the look of the eye pigment powders too.
Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow – beautiful shimmery colours galore
Just like MAC Pigment powders, these Inglot pure pigment powders can be used for a variety of uses. Use them on their own over an eye lid primer or cream base for a sparkly eyeshadow. Or mix them with a liquid available to transform them into colourful eyeliners. Or blend them and turn them into your own eyeshadow colour. I have some swatches here.
See how pretty they are? I love that shimmery taupe shade. No idea of its name, but its absolutely gorgeous in the tub and on my hand. I zeroed in straight on that! Some are more matte than others, but they are very good and you don’t need very much. If you are familiar with MAC Pigment powders or Make Up For Ever Star Powders, you’d be right at home with these. I haven’t used pigment powders or loose powder shadows in a while, but these made me want to dig up my old powders and play with them again!
What you might have heard of before are Inglot nail colours. The range is HUGE and the colours are amazing! There is also a range that is formulated with the technology used in contact lenses, so it allows oxygen to pass through and not dry out your nail. Interesting.
Inglot O2M Breathable Nail Enamel
Also, there are nail art pens for those of you who enjoy playing with nail art.
Interestingly, just about this time that I was keeping an eye out for Inglot reviews, I came across a blog (forgot which!) about the Inglot Freedom System and yes, we’ll have it. The Inglot palettes in the Freedom System are magnetic so you can stack them up and they hold the individual colour pans. You can create a palette for everything from foundation, eye shadow, blush, lip colour and eyeliner which is of course perfect to take travelling! It all comes from a set range of products which is huge so there is something there for everyone.
Prices? At the time I visited, prices weren’t quite firmed up yet, but they are affordable. Face and Body products start from RM46, Eye and Lip products will start from RM38; Makeup Concealers from RM46; Blush from RM50; False Lashes from RM38; Brushes from RM28,; Freedom System empty palette from RM16; Freedom System refill pans from RM22; Nail Enamel from RM44, Nail O2M Enamel from RM62.
If you get the Freedom System palette, it works out much cheaper. It could even start from under RM100 for a filled palette but don’t quote me on it. It depends on what you put in there of course, but the colours will end up being cheaper than if purchased individually.
For the quality and the variety and the price, I’d say Inglot is certainly a brand I’m keeping my eye on.
The store in Sunway Pyramid is targeted to open on 27 May 2011. If you live or work in or around the area, and have visited or plan to visit, please share what you think of the brand and its products. I would likely not be visiting for a while due to accessibility. Boo 🙁 But do share your reports in the comments so I don’t feel left out k? 🙂
If you have tried anything from Inglot Cosmetics or like anything from the brand, please please share. I’d love to know what’s good so I can pick them up myself when I make it to the store 🙂

PB, thanks for the amazing post, I was really curious to walk by Inglot whenever I’m near sunway pyramid! And thanks for reminding me that temptation is only…. 4 minutes away from where I currently am right now, ahahaha ^.^
Have a great day!

OMG Paris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the info!!!!!!! 🙂 I must make a trip to Sunway this June! 🙂 This is the nearest store for me as I live in Singapore. I have my eyes on the Slim Gel lipsticks too after reading about them on makeup4all.com (thanks Marina!) and I have been lemming the no.50 which Marina blogged about. I will be heading to Melbourne in June but the lipstick cost AUD27 there! 🙁 Australia is indeed the “Land of Everything Expensive!) I understand the price in Europe is about 7Euros or 9GBP. Also gonna check out their Freedom System whereby I can suctomise my own palette… Can’t wait!!!! 🙂
ParisB says
Gosh! You have your purchases all planned! 🙂 I hope you find everything you want here and I think Inglot is going into Singapore next year too!

ParisB says
You’re welcome! I must be the only person in here who doesn’t watch Lisa Eldridge 😛 and I’m pleased to see our cosmetic scene growing too.
Ee Von says
once again, thanks for the great write up! 😀 it would be perfect if they have inglot in sephora m’sia, then don’t need to go 2 places to check them out haha.
ParisB says
Yeah! But they probably have no space for them haha! I’m told there might be some new brands coming in but into Sephora KLCC cos there’s no space in the Starhill one!
Issa says

it’s about time! I am glad I didn’t spend a fortune on these while i was in sydney. i think the products are cheaper here. I like its location SP as it’s far away from me so i am a little safe. However, i will be looking out for this when i bring my son to the theme park this holiday! Oh NO!!!
lovely post as always!
ParisB says
Thanks! And since you’ll be just next to the mall you could go in to cool off from the sun lol! Lucky you didn’t get everything in Sydney cos am sure it’s lots cheaper here 🙂
Denise says
Wow, how wonderful! I really wanna try out Inglot! So my best bets are either there in Malaysia or in the US!
ParisB says

Salveen says
Can’t wait for them to open!
I’m curious though, are the palettes heavy?
ParisB says
They were substantial but werent very heavy.
Stephy says
Hi PB,
Thanks for giving us the latest update!
The eyeshadow colours are very attractive.
Do you realize that all the packaging are similar to Stage one?
ParisB says
Actually I found the packaging more similar to Make Up For Ever 😉 This is especially in the liners and gel blush. I think Stage being the younger brand probably was partly inspired by Inglot too.
SharonKyt says
omg!!! I can’t wait to try on the nail polish of Inglot! it was love at first sight… thanks for introducing the brand, ParisB! =D
ParisB says
You’re welcome! Try that midnight blue shade in the o2m range. It’s quite beautiful
Marina (Makeup4all) says
OOh, exciting! I’ve been using Inglot since I was a teen (got it straight from Poland) and I love so many products, so I am not even sure what do I like the most. But I really love those slim gel lipsticks, most of the eye shadows, pigments, glitter, brow wax…
I have quite a few reviews actually but if you are interested in something specific you can ask)
Yes, they have LOTS of nail polishes but the formulation can be slightly different.
ParisB says
I’ll definitely be checking out your reviews before I go to the store! Thanks Marina!
neegee says
woohoo! in Sunway Pyramid! I wonder how their gel liners and lipsticks are compared to MAC. Their eyeshadow pans looked gigantuous! Liners too! <3
ParisB says
I hear they beat mac flat. But I don’t use Mac so I’m probably not your best person to ask lol!
grace_cupid says
Yay, Inglot is coming to Penang next!! Super excited…heard so many raves on their uber pigmented eyeshadows, definitely have to try them!

Elaine says
Thanks for this post, Paris!
SUPER EXCITED NOW! Gotta head down to KL as soon as possible!
Yeeps!
ParisB says
Haha not sure where you are but I don’t think the store is going anywhere soon 🙂 enjoy your visit! You’d probably get there before I do! Haha
