Skinz Infinite Eye Revive Therapy with UV Protection

May 6, 2010 Paris B 7 Comments

A while ago, I told you that I was trying out the Skinz Infinite Eye Revive Therapy eye cream because it had UV Protection. There aren’t many affordable eye creams around with UV protection so I was intrigued.

The Eye Revive Therapy is supposed to be more than an eye cream. It claims to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and dark circles. Unlike many eye creams that come in a tube, this comes in a little compact pump tub that I like.

Texture wise, the white cream is light and fragrance free and absorbs quickly. However, I ran into a problem.

I believe that this eye cream did not agree with my skin. After about 2 weeks, I noticed that I was getting clogged pores and spots around my eye area. This was the only eye cream I was using then so I stopped.

After about a week, the spots and clogged pores went away. I guess they weren’t very serious to start with but I did not dare try it again after this.

So, whilst it was great finding an affordable eye cream with UV protection, I’m sorta sad that it did not work for me 🙁 The Skinz Eye Revive Therapy retails at RM45.90/15ml.

Pros: Light texture, No Fragrance, UV Protection, Pump is very useful

Cons: Did not agree with my skin

Have you tried this one? Did it work for you? Not quite sure what I should do this this one now – its barely used! 😛

I am currently using the Lancome UV Expert Yeux Neuroshield SPF30 for the past 2 months. Been liking it. No clogged pore, no breakout. Much pricier than Skinz at RM120 for 15ml, but I got it at a sale for half price.

I’ve been using the SKINZ range including the eye cream for 3 weeks. I have oily skins so I’m prone to milia seeds if the eye cream is too oily. I haven’t encounter this problem with Skinz yet. But it doesn’t produce miracles on my eyes either (though I partly attribute my condition to long hours in front of monitor).

p.s. I’m loving the day cream. Thought it would be oily, but it absorbs quickly and I do feel the firming effect.

I am travel via KL to Thailand next week and would like to purchase some more of your Skinz range. I got some last year when visiting KL. Is it available within the airport shopping?

    Thanking you Melinda
