It just dawned on me that we are through with the first quarter of the year and sailing into the 2nd quarter and onto Summer. Summer releases for makeup aren’t quite my thing so I’ll be happy to sit out most of it and continue playing with my Spring releases 🙂
But talking about the impending summer reminded me of Smashbox Cosmetics’ makeup artist Robin Flanagan who told me that the new Smashbox Heartbreaker fragrance smells like California or Los Angeles in the Summer time. My favorite scent is that from cherry blossoms. The most wonderful experience I had was standing under a whole street of cherry blossom trees in Japan, seeing and smelling the flowers!
