Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Honey and Coriander Range

April 11, 2010 Paris B 7 Comments

You might already have seen this around – the  new Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Honey and Coriander range.

Crabtreee citron citrus range

I sneaked this picture from the store in MidValley Megamall as I was strolling past one evening. I’d been waiting for its debut really, ever since I got the mailer about it. I love the scent of citrus and lemons so I thought I’d really like this one.

I rather liked how it felt on my hands (I always liked the Hand Therapy), but sadly for me, my friend who was with me took a healthy sniff of the products and proclaimed it “Smells like dishwashing liquid!”.

Oh boo! Tell me its not true!

I still like the light fresh scent of the Crabtree & Evelyn Citron range. Its a nice departure from Crabtree’s other floral powdery scents that are very “old school”. This one’s young, hip and has zing!

But ever since my friend’s proclamation, I can’t get the scent of dishwashing liquid off my mind when I sniff at this so I held off buying since its a permanent range 🙁

Have you tried the Crabtree & Evelyn Citron range? Do you get the smell of fresh lemons, honey and coriander or do you immediately think of washing up dirty dishes when you smell this?

I love the Sweet Lemon range from The Body Shop, but the shower gel and the soap are the only ones that don’t smell weird or like dishwashing liquid to be honest. So hard to find nice-smelling lemon scented products!

Hmm… This kinda reminds me of the Honey & Lemon from L’Occitane but too bad they have stopped bringing in for Malaysia coz they weren’t that popular but I totally went crazy over it. But then Crabtree & Evelyn has Coriander. I wonder what’s the scent like. Will drop by to check it out 🙂

The L’Occitane one might have channeled scents of dishwashing liquid for some? 😉 The coriander smell isn’t strong. Not like in curries anyway LOL…

Hmmm most of my friends don’t like it either but then everytime when I use the handcream they’ll just ask what’s that 😛 I did notice that when you sweat the smell runs and turns musky. So I just use it at night. I don’t mind coriander coz a friend of mine has this Coriander room fragrance she bought from Manila, I totally fell in love but it’s expensive! *sniff sniff*
