Oh-so-simple but i treasured every moment spend together.

    I am one year older.
nothing to complaint but to feel blessed.

i celebrated my birthday this year with a super swollen cheek due to my wisdom tooth, and not able to enjoy my own birthday cake and dinner… *sobs* had to get it extracted immediately the next day…

on the bright side, i am wisdom-tooth-free now, so this will not happen again for my future birthdays… !! 🙂

My birthday is coming soon, on november lol
I’m planning to celebrate it with my besties and my little sister, perhaps just some casual dinner.
This is the first time I can celebrate my birthday with my friends and my family together :). For the past 7 years, I always celebrated my birthday alone, on my flight back to my hometown. Bummer, I know. So this year is going to be fabulous! 😀 (despite having a paper the following day :P)

My birthday was like any ordinary friends gatherings, Its just like old buddies gathering in Shogun and well, chit chats and reminiscing old high school memories as if things happened years back but its old a year ago.

Nothing fancy, photo sessions and any gatherings that we normally do, but it sure does memorable. Plus, birthday is something once a year though.

    Whoooaa babe what a prize!

I celebrated my birthday by attending someone else’s birthday party. The lady was dying of cancer and my parents asked if I would mind forgoing my own celebration and attend hers. How does one say, no, nevermind the nice dying lady, I want my own party? So of course we went. (She’s still going strong btw, if you’re wondering)

My birthday was sort of special… I got a birthday wish from a person that I liked, and even got a present from him. He gave me one of the stuff that he treasured. So even though its used, it was one of the things he loved, so I was totally happy that he actually gave it to me! So this years birthday was most definitely a tad bit more special then the previous years 😀

My upcoming 21st bday which falls on the 25th, will be spent on a simple lunch with friends, dinner with family AND THEN a night out with my friends to WATCH FOOTBALL! Yes, the big ManU v Liverpool match (Liverpool all the way!)

Hopefully, my bday will be a lucky day for my team so we will end up winning and an email notification (from you! hopefully! haha..) will just be icing on the cake! =)

    Have a blessed Friday!

I just celebrated mine yesterday which nearly made me cry as my mom said that she has no money to celebrate yesterday and to wait till she has the money till the end of the money. As a daughter i do understand and i told her no worries as it’s not really important to celebrate it, to remember and birthday kiss is the most best present i can’t wait from her. Whereas my fiance told me that he can’t celebrate this year again as he has no money due to family problem. Again i understand his situation and i know that he tried to save up some money to celebrate my birthday but yet some circumstances that can’t be avoid. As it’s end of the month, i told him to wait till the pay day so that we can go celebrate together with my parent.
But yet yesterday morning, my boss, who always hear my problem, asked where am i going to celebrate my birthday? So i told him that i’m not going anywhere as due to low financial. He said no worries, we celebrate together. He went to out and bought a big black forest cake and drinks and asked me to call few colleagues to join the small birthday party. I was so flattered and nearly burst into tears seeing all the trouble my boss did. Even my bestfriend at the office bought a slice of cake and a chocolate even tough i know she on the budget too. I really appreciated them so much and this is the best ever birthday i ever had hence most memorable.

My birthday was in July. It was a simple celebration but a very happy one because my 8 year old son co-ordinated the whole thing.

Both he and his father went to Baskins Robbin to get me an ice-cream birthday cake (my favourite one). Then they quickly sneaked into the kitchen and switch off the lights and closed the door. I pretended I did not see all these happening.

My son then shouted for me to go to the kitchen and when I opened the door, I was so touched seeing my son carrying the cake with all the candles lighted and started singing “Happy Birthday” song. He said “Happy Birthday, Mummy!”

I was so touched. This is worth more to me than any expensive gifts.

i always had a quiet birthday celebration every year, n this year is no different. but it started off quite disappointing because hubby said he didnt have time to get a pressie for me the night before. so it was a surprise when i saw a pink paperbag outside our bedroom the next morning n it contains a patent red fitflop, thanks to ur review!

we had a nice dinner afterwards 🙂

The pup & I celebrating birthdays within weeks of The pup & I celebrating birthdays within weeks of each other 😁 Kiddo turns 4 and celebrated with specially made doggy burgers & fries.

I got him in early Jan 2020 so he’s only been with me less than 4 years but it’s been incredible to see how he’s grown (or not), and how he’s slowly mellowed with age (or not!). He’s still that crazy rambunctious puppy who terrorises other dogs, begging them to play and barking at them when they don’t. He’s a greedy fella who makes me think I’m the greatest chef in the world (in the dog world maybe!) and he still gets crazy eyes when excited.

But I’ve also found more white hair around his eyes and he sleeps in more and later now. He doesn’t even get up early enough to jump onto the bed as he used to 😔

4 years is practically adulthood in doggy years and I’m thankful that we have the opportunity to spend lots of time together even if I bemoan having to bring him everywhere I go.

Happy 4 years boy ❤️
