I picked this piece of information about the upcoming MAC Cosmetics Hello Kitty collection from Temptalia.
So, MAC and Hello Kitty fans in the USA might want to bookmark 10 and 12 February 2009 for the launch of this limited edition collection in the USA and MAC and Hello Kitty fans elsewhere in the world will have to wait till March 2009 to see this.
I thought the Mac Barbie collection was quite surreal then, and when I first heard about the proposed collaboration between MAC Cosmetics and Hello Kitty I admit I thought it was a joke. It appears however, that it is NOT a joke and this collection is imminent. I can just hear the squeals of delight from Hello Kitty collectors. One more for the collection!
There is even a Hello Kitty-MAC plush doll that will retail for US$42 *faints*
While I’m curious about it, I can’t help feeling that all this is a little… surreal… wake me up someone…

It’s just me, but I think I’ll take the Barbie collection over the Hello Kitty one anytime. Cannot lah this one :p

I have a so-so feeling bout MAC, tho I love its brushes and e/s, but Hello Kitty??? It’s my childhood idol! I dont even care how weird this Gothic Hello Kitty….LOL

I’m so disappointed by this collection. When I think of Hello Kitty I think pink, cute and girlish. HK in black is just wrong. I think they probably wanted a grown up feel, but it doesn’t do anything for me.

Somehow the Barbie one appeals more to me. Possibly because in my mind Hello Kitty is for 5 year olds.
The colours seem quite cute though. But I dont think I will be getting any of these =s

You know what, I’m quite looking forward to the Dame Edna collection. That crass purple lady cracks me up, and the red eyeglasses on the MAC makeup’s just too cute :p
never own any piece of MAC, thanks to their great sales assistant. and i dont like hello kitty at all, it is a cat without mouth, i am biased i guess.
