A Quick Walkthrough : Tsuya Tsuya Nail Buff, Angel Eyes Fiberlength Mascara and Lip Embroidery

October 8, 2011 Paris B 15 Comments

I have here a few items from Tsuya Tsuya to tell you about. I’ve actually seen the Tsuya Tsuya counter at Watson’s MidValley and its a substantial one with quite a lot of products available so I can say for certain that this relatively unknown brand can now be easily picked up at Watson’s stores, should you so wish.

I’ll start with the Magic Nail Buff which I rather liked.

Mine came in a pack of 3. The info tells me that they retail at RM12.90 but I’m uncertain if that’s per piece or per set of 3. If someone knows, it will be helpful. What this is, is your regular nail buffer. Slightly rough on one side (the coloured side) to smoothen ridges on your nails, and smooth on the white side, to buff and shine.

Most of you will be familiar with this one and perhaps even own lots of different types. Being not into nails at all, I don’t even bother to buff my nails. I know, I know. And I call myself a beauty blogger. Bah! 😉

Tsuya Tsuya BB Cream : A Sheer Pink Based BB Cream That Works Best As A Primer

September 1, 2011 Paris B 19 Comments

I don’t know how this happened, but I may have found a BB Cream that I have worn for more than 2 weeks straight without experiencing too much discomfort or hassle or just overall boredom. The BB Cream in question is the Tsuya Tsuya BB Cream which isn’t a brand nor a product I’m terribly familiar with.

Ths Tsuya Tsuya BB Cream, like many BB Creams have a host of promises. This one claims to contain Vitamin C and Deep Sea Minerals and has whitening, moisturizing and nourising properties and SPA30 with UVA protection for all skin types. Not too bad, but the Korean formulation threw me for a moment. You see, while I’ve had a fair experience with BB Creams from Japan and the Western brands, I’ve never really had a good experience with Korean formulations. They are what put me off BB Creams to start.

So naturally, its interesting to see how this one fares and why I might say that I quite like it 🙂

Do you get angelic eyes with Tsuya Tsuya Angel Eyes Gel Eyeliner in Tanzanite Purple?

July 26, 2011 Paris B 22 Comments

Gel eyeliners. Its been a while.

In fact, its been so long that I’ve tossed out most of the ones I owned before (mostly from Bobbi Brown) because they had all dried up. That’s how long its been since I’ve used a gel eyeliner. I’ve been using pencil and liquid liners most recently because they are quick and practical, but like riding a bicycle, you never quite forget how to apply gel liner 🙂

The Tsuya Tsuya Angel Eyes Gel eyeliner landed on my desk recently in a fascinating colour called Tanzanite Purple. (No, I don’t get the Angel Eyes reference either)

The packaging is small (surprisingly small) and compact in a plastic pot and comes sealed with a foil seal. I like that you don’t get prying fingers digging into the product and you have a lower risk of it drying out in transit because this is sold in the pharmacy aisles after all. It also comes with 2 brushes but mine only came with one – with slim but firm bristles that draws a surprisingly thin smooth line.

Its compact and the brush can be disassembled and stored within itself so the whole package is very well designed indeed. But all that aside, how does the product fare?
