5 Lessons I’ve learnt looking back on a challenging yet unique year

When I ended 2019, it was on a high note. I felt like I had everything sorted, and everything was looking up. I was viewing 2020 with much hope, anticipation and optimism.

And somewhere around March 2020, the world, as we know it, went pear-shaped.

Gosh, what a ride it has been since then!

I can’t say however, that is has all been bad for me, personally. It has been challenging, but I can count myself lucky that I have not been personally seriously impacted by the events of 2020.

Yet, there are some lessons I can take away from everything that’s happened this year. I will share some with you (and you can share yours with me too!) 🙂

I have a confession.

I’m not sure what to make of the Antipodes Blessing Anti-Pollution Light Face Serum.

I’d used it on and off initially, quite unsure what to make of it. Then, I started using it every morning, as directed, still unsure what to make of it.

I’m about halfway through the bottle now, and I’m still rather unsure what to make of it LOL! 😀 But there are some observations I have that might tilt me in favour of a repurchase.

I received a selection of the Chanel Holiday 2020 makeup collection by a very special delivery method this year – courier delivery!

Nothing is the same this year, and every company has had to pivot to reach their customers, and Chanel customers in Malaysia have finally been offered a delivery service. You do have to call in to a store or contact client services at +6012 366 0072 to arrange delivery of what you want, but this service is going out throughout Malaysia – yes, even to places without a physical Chanel counter! I think that’s grand 😀

I do realize that the Les Chaines D’or de Chanel Holiday 2020 Makeup collection has been out a while, but I’ll share some quick thoughts on it regardless. Why break with tradition, when it’s something I’ve been sharing year on year 😀

Usually, when the year end comes around, it is a time for a bit of a breather. That little pause as people go on leave, throng the malls to enjoy the Christmas decorations, and spend time with loved ones while shopping up a storm – the sales! Oh, the sales!

This year, it’s all different of course.

This year, everyone feels a little more uncertain, staying at home has taken on new meaning (and stress, for parents especially!) and shopping has mostly gone online.

The sales! Oh the online sales! HAHA 😛
