The hype surrounding the new Dior Addict Extreme lipsticks is taking the world by storm! The Dior Addict lipsticks were revamped last year and made Iconic and this year, they have been made Extreme, in that the colours are supposed to be more pigmented and they wear longer on your lips while retaining the moisturizing balmy effect characteristic of Dior Addict lipsticks.
I received the new colours to try out, but there’s only so many I can wear so I decided to share the love with you because I know you’d love it 😉 So, we have here 4 of the new Dior Addict Extreme lipsticks to share with 4 of you lucky readers. As these are new, and I only have one of each, I will not be swatching them so do check online for colour representations. I will bring you a review and swatches of the rest of the colours released in the range, soon (we get 12 locally).

OMG..just came back from lunch to see these babies and the Avenue colour gave me a craving for cherries…not the ones we get at the supermarket with the dark plum tones..but those cartoon cherries we see on TV.. not too sure y I’m relating cherries with it tho…it’s such a lovely pink tone. Perfect colour for parading down the Avenue in our Sunday finest, as tho we were back to ye olden days where girls wore long dresses n layers of petticoats n lace with beautiful ladylike brollies to hide behind while we peeped at the dashing men on horseback. Not too bright, not too ‘nude’, just enough to catch men’s attentions. So unlike me..but that colour somehow makes me think of that!
I choose Cruise! ANd I think you’re pretty great for giving these away.

It would be easier to make a sentence with one of the other colors, but Silhouette looks so wearable and I confess that I have too many strong colors in my stash right now. I’m looking for a more subtle color with a soft, elegant Silhouette 🙂
While holidaying in Disneyland, a friend and I decided to get our Silhouette portraits taken at the Silhouette Studio. Upon receiving them, my friend teasingly mentioned ‘oh my, our silhouettes look better than our real selves!’ =D
I am pretty darn sure having Dior Addict Extreme’s Silhouette on my lips will draw me out of the shadows and allow my real self to shine, unlike the Silhouette Studio incident! =p

The next time I Cruise over to the USA, I’d love to have a reddened rose look on my lips as I walk off the runway. It’ll be perfect for early fall weather and reflect the tinge of cold in the air that often gives cheeks a reddened look, too. 😉
