Changing Hair Colours : Contemplating INOA Professional hair colour and Liese bubble home colour

July 31, 2010 Paris B 25 Comments

Happy Saturday Ladies!

This weekend is going to be a quiet one for me. I have however, been itching to re-colour my hair. The last time I did, I got highlights which were really nice but I allowed them to grow out, not intending to colour my hair again (until I start greying 😛 ) but after finding out about this new ammonia free hair colourant called INOA, I’m itching to take my hair deep purple!

l'oreal inoa no ammonia hair color

I’ll tell you more about it below. For now, take a breather and see what my beauty blogging gal pals have been up to in July!

  • Eye makeup inspired by the forest – SkinDeco
  • All you need and want to know about facial masks – Lipglosseater
  • Why expensive nail polish might just be better! – AskMeWhats
  • Beauty Budget guide for brides to be : The skincare edition – Pretty Beautiful
  • Pretty pink lipstick by Maybelline Watershine PR31 – Soloverly
  • Rouge Dior in Celebrity Red is a cracker! – Redlusciouslips

So coming back to my hair colour. I have been contemplating going deep purple ever since I saw it done on a model when they launched INOA. What’s INOA then? (I have a bit of a hair colour dilemma you can vote on below 😉 Help! )

Friday Fotography: Random photos from the week

July 30, 2010 Paris B 16 Comments

I’ve been playing with my camera (photography’s fun!) and thought I’d just share some random shots I took throughout the week. They may or may not be beauty related and they are purely amateur shots but what the hey! 🙂

pink mosque putrajaya

The iconic pink mosque at Putrajaya, administrative capital of Malaysia. There’s a food court downstairs and there used to be some good outlet shopping too but that’s gone now.

administrative office putrajaya

Administrative office of the Prime Minister – where state policies are made. Can you see the PM waving from the window? Oh of course you can’t – he’s out of the country 😛

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Fragrance – Joy in a bottle

giorgio armani acqua di gioa perfume review

Gioia – Joy (Italian)

Acqua – Water

Acqua di Gioia – Water of Joy (?)

Either way, this is Giorgio Armani’s new fragrance for women which they are convinced will be a hit with most women. It was recently unveiled at the hill top restaurant of Neo Tapas in Kuala Lumpur.

Well, aren’t I right? Joy for me IS waking up to smell freshly brewed coffee. Something I don’t get very often but which I do get when I go home to coffee made only as Mom knows how to. Incidentally, after we mixed up our interpretations of joy and did a lucky dip, I got one that talked about coffee too! Coincidence or what? 🙂

Aqua di Gioa starts out fresh with top  notes of lemon and mint leaves, mellowing down to a floral scent of jasmine and brown sugar. What do you get? Hungry. Because I’m made to think of creme brulee every single time I wear this fragrance!
