Why you should get a Uniqlo bra top… or two… or four!

In our hot hot weather, I like wearing sleeveless tops but I hate strapless bras. I have never found a strapless bra to like. If they hold up, it leaves me breathless… and not in a good way. If I can breathe in it, I risk it slipping down and giving the impression of droopy boobs. Nope. Never found a strapless bra to love.

So when I came across Uniqlo bra tops (on sale!) I picked up a few to try. And then I picked up a few more. Because these bra tops are idiot proof!

No more tacky bra straps showing when you wear a spaghetti strap top or sleeveless top; no more strapless bras making their way down to your waist. Just pull them on and go!

For the uninitiated, these are T-shirt tops with bra cups built in like in swimsuits. I’ve seen them in spaghetti strap tops and sleeveless tanks. It also comes in dresses, but the dresses do tend to look a bit dowdy. I am tempted by the maxi dresses though I’d wait till they go on sale icon razz Why you should get a Uniqlo bra top... or two... or four!

It comes in a few designs and I picked up a few because they were on sale, and because I thought they’d come in super useful when travelling. Pack a few of these bra tops and you have one less item to pack i.e. your bra which can squish and go out of shape. When worn, I was surprised that it gives a good line and decent enough support for your boobies without squishing them flat as a sports bra would. That said, I’m not a size C and up so I can’t tell how larger boobs will fare in these tops. For small cup gals, it gives us a nice lift and a bit of illusion of having nice sized perky boobies. Hidden benefit icon razz Why you should get a Uniqlo bra top... or two... or four!

The Uniqlo bra tops retail here for something like RM69.90 or RM79.90 but they were on sale for RM39.90 about 3 weeks ago. Its worth worth picking up a couple on sale, but even if not, its worth picking up at least one. They work well under corporate suit jackets, or cardigans for work; and on weekends with jeans or shorts or skirts. Did I mention they give amazing line? icon wink Why you should get a Uniqlo bra top... or two... or four!

I might have to go and check if there are any other designs in my size. These things are addictive! icon razz Why you should get a Uniqlo bra top... or two... or four!

Tell me about it!! The recent hot weather made me spend around RM200 online buying bra-less nursing tops! Got the same one in several different colours and got 2 of the same black piece… That’s how good it feels. These tops are amazing!

Liberating yet covers up the necessary bits. All clothes should have a built in bra :P

In my recent trip back to Malaysia I bought 5 of them. I almost want to give up my bra wearing them as we do alot of layering in Melbourne. Now I intend to buy more when I go back next year, hopefully they are on sale too.

Hiya! I only ever saw them go on sale once and that was about a month ago! There were some in neon colours that were cheaper than the rest but the next time they go on sale, I’m picking up even more!

I saw them a couple of weeks back but wasnt tempted to try them cos i had the impression that they’ll give the squishy effect like a sports bra.
Darn! Probably not on sale anymore. :(

Aww… no they aren’t on sale anymore. I went to check with my sis but there is a rack of neon shade that are on sale (odd sizes though) so you can still give it a try. Guarantee no squishy boobs! :D

I absolutely LOVE them! :D Super comfortable and convenient. And yeah, I share your feelings on strapless bras @_@ Even wearing the NuBra makes me paranoid and they make my boobs look… well they just look squished out of shaped in a NuBra :P

It was you and your Twittering about them that got me interested! :D I absolutely detest strapless bras and only wear them when I absolutely have to or for short hours only. Never met a strapless bra to love :P

Awww! I feel a little guilty for that, but at the same time I’m glad you love the bra tops though :D
Yeah, unless it’s a function or dinner and the dress requires it, no strapless bras for me either! :P

I’ve been to Uniqlo in England and bought several items but somehow failed to buy those tops… +_+ They seem so practical! Too bad there isn’t any Uniqlo store here in Brazil. The quality and the price can’t be beaten!

These tops are amazing! I hope you get a chance to try them some day – and that Uniqlo makes its way to Brazil soon too! I love Uniqlo :P

i saw these when it was on sale, tried them on but no, the cutting doesn’t fit me. it made me look like i have droopy boobs! somehow or rather, i think uniqlo’s line of clothes are somewhat meant for the petite/ slender ladies.

One of the designs (the one with the lace) gave me a droopy boob effect but the plain ones are great. Maybe its better for the less endowed ;)

Mega sale started .. but is the bra-top on sale too?

Uniqlo runs limited offer sales all the time so the bra tops went on sale about a month ago. I’m not sure if they are on sale now – I haven’t been to Uniqlo in a while.

I bought 2 of the bratop last year. one from Alice in the wonderland series and the other one gray with tiger stripes. I used them when I went to a quick trip to universal studio of japan last summer and using them frequently as my workout outfit. I hate wearing normal bra when exercising or running and sports bra tend to squeeze my breasts too tight making me feel uneasy.

I heard a lot about this bra top. does it support bigger size emmm breast…??

I’m not sure. I think for up to a size C might be alright if you take it in a big size. But anything larger may have problems
