I tried the Lunette Menstrual Cup and tell you what I think about using a menstrual cup

OK it’s sure taken me a while to get around to trying the menstrual cup, but hello! I did! And I lived to tell the tale of my experience with the Lunette Menstrual Cup LOL!

There are so many brands of menstrual cups in the market these days. So many, I was confused. This more so, when you start reading, trying to decide which to buy, and you find that not every cup suits every woman.

Then, you ask around, and no one gives you a straight answer which cup to pick, because every woman is different, with different physical attributes and preferences.

So, are you here wondering if I can tell you which menstrual cup is best for you, or if the Lunette menstrual cup is the best in the market? Well, no, I can’t do that either, sorry 😛

Instead, I’ll share what I think after trying a menstrual cup for a few months, and if it might be an option you want to consider. And if you are using or have questions, I’d love for you to share your experiences too! 🙂

Sun damaging your skin? Here’s how I protect mine after prolonged sun exposure

I was always an indoors person. Never very sporty or outdoorsy. It was easier for me to look after my skin then. Staying indoors is generally better for your skin, because of the reduced UV and sun exposure.

But then, I got a dog and all hell pretty much broke loose LOL!

Having a dog comes with many responsibilities, and one of them is daily walks. That meant I was being moved out of my comfort zone, and out into the sun.

Initially, I wasn’t paying much attention to my skin. I’d rush through my morning skincare routine, slap on any ol’ sunscreen, and head out the door with puppers.

But as time went by, I noticed my skin was becoming more dry, dull and my pigmentation had gotten worse. I knew I had to do something.

There is much to enjoy about the Dr Sam’s Flawless Daily Sunscreen but there are some drawbacks too

I’ve tried 2 of Dr Sam’s products prior to this (Flawless Cleanser and Flawless Moisturiser), and I’ve enjoyed them both.

When I saw she also had the Dr. Sam’s Flawless Daily Sunscreen, I was curious enough to pick up a bottle, even though I already have my favourite sunscreen, and am usually loathe to try something new.

But it’s a SUNSCREEN! And I’m always curious about sunscreen.

This especially also because I have a soft spot for Dr. Sam Bunting. I enjoy watching her videos. Her voice is soothing, and her advice often makes sense, without shoving it in your face as many do.

So, might I have found a brand new sunscreen to love? 🙂

Your Say: Is expensive skincare ever worth it?

Skincare is such a divisive thing once prices come into play.

I feel like in many ways, people are more willing to pay for a more expensive makeup item than they are a more expensive skincare product.

Might it be because a makeup item can last longer, while you’re likely to finish your skincare product in 3-4 months? Think of the last expensive eyeshadow palette you purchased. I’m sure it’s still sitting there after a few years, while that last expensive skincare product has been emptied many moons ago LOL!

Often therefore, when I share about a skincare product which is more expensive than normal, I’m asked if it’s worth it.

Well, what do you think? Is expensive skincare ever worth it?
