I learnt how to crochet from my mom. I’m sure if I were to hold a hook and some yarn in my hands right now, I might be able to do a few chain stitches. But that is the extent of my abilities. I don’t know what I ever made – a scarf (in hot Malaysian weather?!) or maybe a hairband. My puny abilities aside, I found a store with an adorable name, that specialises in hand-crocheted products – Adorkable Crochet.

If crochet reminds you of your old aunt or grandma, Adorkable’s designs will change your mind. I stumbled on her site when she placed an ad on my sidebar and I have been toying with the idea of making an order ever since because I love her designs. I have picked out my favorite 4 designs and am still dithering over them. Prices (in USD) aren’t that high when you think about it, because it is all one of a kind and hand made. Adorkable accept credit cards and paypal and ships internationally and shipping prices look reasonable.

I’ll update when I decide on my order 🙂

I learnt how to crochet from my mom.
