Ah Serum de Rouge, one of my favourite lippies! I love that they help treat my lips whenever they feel chapped and dry, so if I have horrid dry lips, this is the range of lipsticks I reach for. It doesn’t accentuate the dry skin and helps treat it so it only gets better throughout the day.

I have quite a few now since their launch *ahem* and I’ve been mostly happy with them all. This one’s No. 730 Corail Serum (French) or Coral Serum (English) which is, as the name implies, a lovely soft coral lipstick. Who was it who was asking me for coral lipstick recs? Take a look at this one! 🙂

It looks absolutely BORING in the tube. Just look at that. Blah. But once swiped on skin, its a lovely pigmented soft coral. Pigmented yet light on lips; lipstick yet lipgloss. Love!

Here’s another look at it in the tube.

Doesn’t look like much does it?

Here’s the swatch on the back of my hand.

Dior Serum de Rouge No. 730 Coral Serum Swatch

Its lightweight but the colour isn’t sheer at all. For me, it applies quite opaque and on me, it does last at least 4 hours till lunch including water and coffee intake. That said, I never seem to have a problem with lipsticks lasting on me at least 4 hours with drinking. I do tend to wipe off my lipstick after lunch so I never measure it past the lunch hour.

Also featuring RMK Separate Curl Mascara and Max Factor Cream Blush Soft Cardinal

My lips are actually very dry when I applied this, but you can’t tell can you? Wonders of this lipstick! 😀

In real life, its a little bit more coral but the intensity is about what you see in the picture above. Its not a scary bright orange but it is a lovely soft coral that I think will suit most so do take a look at this if you are in the market for a coral lipstick. Its lovely in warm weather 🙂

Pros: Lovely lightweight texture, Help treat dry chapped lips, Applies smoothly like a dream, Lovely soft colours, Gorgeous packaging

Cons: Pricey

To get an idea of other shades in the Dior Serum de Rouge range, check out my previous reviews on Peach Serum, Crimson Serum. I gave my mom Raspberry Serum… and she’s asking for a replacement 😛 Its pricey and you don’t get a huge lot of product in the tube, but heck, its love! And when you’re in love, you get irrational 😀

Have you tried any Dior Serum de Rouge lippies and if you have, what’s your favourite colour? Share! Share! 😀

Paris B

Dior Serum de Rouge Lipsticks retail at RM109 at all Dior counters

What is the 30 Days of Lip Swatches project? I will be showcasing and reviewing 30 lipsticks or lip glosses in the coming days.
