When I found out that the Estee Lauder Cyberwhite skincare line had undergone yet another revamp, my initial thought was “Eh? Again?!” You might remember the revamp last year. My 2nd thought was “I hope they’ve done something about the cleanser!” I tried it before under the original line and sadly didn’t like it. I did try the night cream from last year’s collection and I liked that – never got round to telling you about it before this revamp. Guess its too late now 😛

This year its all about the cells. The new incarnation of the Estee Lauder Cyberwhite range is Brilliant Cells which addresses barely visible spots, small surface spots, stubborn age spots and recurring spots – the 4 different types of spots commonly found in Asian skins. My favourite item however, which I immediately ran off to purchase, wasn’t a skincare item, strangely enough 😉

But just quickly about the skincare line. The Cyberwhite Brilliant Cells skincare line still targets those who want a whitening/brightening effect on the skin. Primarily, it would target those who have problems with dark spots, pigmentation or perhaps a dull skintone.

On a personal note, I sometimes mix in a whitening/brightening skincare item into my skincare line up to help with a dull skintone. I don’t always use a full whitening line up but I do mix in a serum or cream. I find that using it helps to maintain a clearer brighter skintone, or help target my problems with dark spots.

I tried most of the range in situ one morning and I must say that I rather liked the Brightening Moisture Cream and Brightening UV Protector with SPF50/ PA+++. The former reminds me of the previous night cream I liked (and probably replaces it) and the latter intrigues me because I have a “thing” for sunscreens 🙂 Incidentally, my present stock of sunscreens are at an all time low so I might want to give this one a try. It would however really piss me off if they run off and change the formula etc again next year 😛

Now! What was it that I really liked then?

This! The *sucks in deep breath* Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Perfection Extra Brightening Loose powder SPF15/PA++ *whew*

Its a translucent loose powder with tiny shimmer and it adds a lovely glow to the skin while helping to set your foundation. You only need a little puffed over your skin, or dusted over with a fluffy brush and its really nice. Don’t worry about looking glittery – you won’t 🙂 Its also a little pink so it helps give a brighter look to the skin.

Anyway, it certainly impressed me so after the briefing, I headed down to the nearest Estee Lauder counter and picked it up 😛 I’ll tell you about this in greater detail soon 🙂
