The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that skincare reviews usually make an appearance on a specific day of the week. But what’s life if without variety?! 😀 I’m working through quite a backlog so you’re going to have to put up with some disruption to the regular programme i.e. quite a few overdue skincare posts coming up.

This one’s a long overdue review on the Biotherm Aquasource Non Stop Oligo-Thermal Gel Intense Moisturization… which is basically the famed Biotherm Aquasource moisturizing gel. I had a bad reaction to the pink Aquasource Moisture Cream version before, which was for dry skins, and the blue Aquasource Oil Free lotion for oily skins.

This time, when the opportunity arose, despite being diagnosed as needing the blue line (for oily skins) I specifically refused it and went for the green tub – for normal/combination skins.

I felt a little like Goldilocks at this point – I’d tried the one that was too rich, the one that was not hydrating enough… and finally, here was one that was just right! 😀

The gel texture absorbed quickly into the skin with no sticky feel, and it kept my skin hydrated during the day. I used it mainly in the day as I go for lighter moisturizers in the day, so this was perfect. I find that when I apply the gel to my skin, my skin feels cool which was a little unexpected.
