Happy Saturday Ladies!

We got quite a good response 2 weeks ago, so I’m going to run this little weekend questionnaire again, because I’m nosy 😉

Hasn’t it been gloomy lately though, weather-wise? We don’t get winter here, but it might as well be winter with the unusually cool weather, grey skies and rain all the time. Midway through the past week there was some sun so I quickly took this picture so I can hold on to the blue skies and fluffy white clouds 🙂 The weather seems to be improving with lots more sun so that’s good!

What are you looking forward to this weekend?

I’m actually away this weekend on a bit of a pilgrimage 🙂 So I’m looking forward to cheap massages and stuffing my face with good food. Don’t know if I’ll have time to squeeze in any shopping since its just for 24 hours >.<

Your favourite purchase of the week?

I bought some new clothes last weekend (getting rid of lots of old ones) and my favourite is this grey striped form fitting dress with a matching sash, that is so very chic! Moschino inspired I was told. It wouldn’t look out of place on the fashionable streets of Paris and Milan that’s for sure! 😀

Have you read a good book lately?

I just finished Autobiography of a Geisha. It totally dispels all your romantic notions of geishas and what we saw and read in Memoirs of a Geisha. Its a good read and I felt for the author. Its a very hard life being a Geisha outside of the glitz and glamour associated with the trade and its an even harder life once they stop being Geisha. I got mine from the Book Depository. Definitely worth a read.
