Do you realize that today is the last Sunday in 2010? Its also Boxing Day and I’m sure many of you are either happily messing with your Christmas presents or out hitting the Boxing Day sales 😉

There was so much to love about all the beautiful beauty related things we saw in 2010. But I’m curious if you have a favourite non-beauty item in 2010?

It could be something you purchased yourself, or something someone gave you. To widen the scope, why don’t you tell me what your favourite non-beauty (cosmetic/skincare) related item is? It could be your favourite pair of shoes or belt or maybe you bought a new car? 🙂

Here’s mine.

Well actually I have a few LOL! These are just 2 🙂 Its been a while since I went all gaga over gadgets 😀

Blackberry Bold 2 and the iPod Touch 4G

I went down the Blackberry route earlier this year and I’m afraid “they” were right (whoever “they” are). Once you go down that road, you can never look back. I thought a QWERTY keyboard would be a pain, but its in fact, a lot easier to use and faster too! I use it a lot for work (the Calendar is so useful for scheduling meetings!) and also for working on MWS! 😀 When I’m waiting for a meeting or just have some time on my hands, I use that time to reply your comments on the go or to work on posts. Having 3G connectivity is such a boon and getting a Blackberry is probably one of the smartest things I did this year 🙂 Oh and there’s chat in the form of the Blackberry Messenger (BBM) and Whatsapp and of course I love being on Twitter too and the ‘berry allows me to stay connected that way 🙂

As for the iPod Touch, I’m glad I waited for the 4th Generation version because I love Facetime! I use it to chat to my sister who is living overseas for now whenever she’s on wifi with her iPhone. Or else, there’s Skype. The drawback to the iPod Touch of course is that I need a wifi connection to be connected to the internet. Music features on it, but I use my iPod mostly for other things like surfing on the go (the large screen is much easier to view than the smaller Blackberry screen) and for what I’d like to call “time wasting”. This means my addiction to this game app called iJewels 😛 Now I own the iPod I’m very glad I didn’t go the way of the iPhone. The touch screen drives me mad 😛 Oh and much as I enjoy using WordPress on the iPod Touch, it drives me mad how it crashes all the time on me. I don’t know if its just me though.

Another non-beauty related item I’m very happy about this year is my new bookcase. No pics, but I converted a book case to a storage/display case for my precious bags and yes, I’m very happy and satisfied with what I did and what I got 🙂 (It was a Billy bookcase with glass doors from Ikea)

So that’s me.

What your favourite non-beauty item(s) of 2010? 🙂

Paris B

Do you realize that today is the last Sunday in 2010?
