Graphite – shimmery dark grey

These pencils aren’t as creamy as some others I’ve used, but they don’t tug when I draw it on my eye. It actually performs better after a few uses, rather than out of the box. I tried rubbing at the words I scratched on the back of my hand and the colours don’t rub off easily.

I do find that these eyeliners stay on the whole day for me with very minimal smudging (if any) and the colours stay true to the end of the day too. But it pays to note that I do not usually experience smudging or fading of eye liners (except Urban Decay 24/7 strangely enough) and I do not have oily lids.

So I like these and I am planning to pick up the full size Onyx pencil because it works for me. I can live with the other colours in the mini size. They aren’t quite must have shades, if you ask me, although 14K is very pretty for highlighting the inner corner of the eyes, or just brightening up your eyes in general. Useful to have in a mini size, but not a must have for full size.

Pros: Mini sizes are good to try to see if you like them, Perfect size for travel, 14k is a pretty highlight, No smudging on me

Cons: Some might consider them pricey, Limited Edition set for Christmas 2010

I see they have a full size Limitless Eyeliner Pencil in Peacock on the website, which is a sparkly teal. So I think you can just imagine which ones I’d be getting 😛

Have you tried the Smashbox Limitless Eye Liners? Perhaps you like or dislike them? Do share – I’d love to hear how these fare on you, since they work a charm on me 🙂

If you were to ask me, other than the Eye Wish Palette, I didn’t find the rest of the Christmas gift sets from Smashbox Cosmetics tremendously exciting. That was until my eye fell on the Wish for the Perfect Pencils set. I do prefer pencil liners and after testing these mini Smashbox Limitless Eye Liners,
