That was my reaction upon receiving this most luxurious gift last weekend. Or maybe not, but I was squealing inside with glee.<\/p>\n

A gift from a very lovely friend of one of Tom Ford’s Private Blend lipsticks launched earlier this year. I had the run of the house and I picked Moroccan Rouge, a reddened plum. Plum? Moi?<\/p>\n
I think the gifter was just as surprised as I was to see the colour in the tube. We both stared it for a good 5 seconds, before checking to see if the colour is what it says it is LOL… I have just swatched a tiny side of it on the back of my hand, quite loathe to disturb the TF etched right into the center of the lipstick.<\/p>\n
The colour is gorgeous. A fuchsia toned plummy red that is on the cooler side. A Fall colour, that’s for sure. I’ll steel myself and bring some proper swatches soon \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I haven’t been this excited about a lipstick in a very very long while! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
