Last night, I was feeling out of sorts (got into a quarrel and had to work late) so by the time it came to bedtime, I needed some serious relaxation and unwinding time. Rooting through my stash I came across a Guardian Green Tea Face Mask I’d forgotten I had.

To sum it up, I found myself really liking it! And then this morning, I saw that Jenn and the commentators on her post had disliked it. Eeps! But nevermind. I still liked it anyway 🙂

I have a big face 😛 so the mask was quite a good fit except along the sides where it was a tad big; but it didn’t quite trouble me because it meant that the mask fit all along my hairline. Many sheet masks do not.

The green tea scent is quite strong but I found it surprisingly calming. Considering I was all heated up, it was something! Also, when I laid it on my face and lay back to read in bed and with the air conditioning on, it was lovely and cool on my skin, rapidly cooling down my skin (and temper).

My skin felt moisturized after using the mask and I’m not fussed about “whitening” although my skin did appear to look a tad brighter. But bear in mind this was at night and I wasn’t bothered to see if it really was 😛 Followed up with my regular skincare and I think its all good coz my face felt all plumped up and cool!

Pros: Skin felt moisturized, Affordable, Relaxing scent I believe a single face mask retails at RM5.90 or thereabouts at Guardian Pharmacies nationwide and from recollection, house brands tend to go on sale often.

I seem to recall that there are other “flavours” of the Guardian Face Mask so I might give one or two more a shot (if I see them on sale). Also, lots of people seem to think the one from Watson’s is better so I might give that one a shot too! 😀

Paris B

The Guardian Green Tea Face Mask retails at RM5.90 or thereabouts at Guardian Pharmacies nationwide

Last night, I was feeling out of sorts (got into a quarrel and had to work late) so by the time it came to bedtime, I needed some serious relaxation and unwinding time.
I found that the mask was well and truly wet with the essence but it did not drip (plus point) and it lasted quite a while before drying up (another plus point). I noticed that its Made in Taiwan – it comes with a plastic sheet folded with the mask too. Reminded me of the My Beauty Diary masks (also from Taiwan!) Ingredient list is below.

Cons: Quite pricey for a house brand, scent is quite strong if you are sensitive
