I can’t remember where I first read about Tsubaki hair products by Shiseido but I remember that they were highly raved over. We don’t get this brand in Malaysia at this time, so when I was in Japan, I picked up a bottle of Tsubaki Shampoo and Conditioner so I’d know what all the hype is about.

Well, guess what? This lovely shampoo and conditioner kept my hair wonderfully soft from the first wash and smells really nice to boot. You only use very little and its all wonderful in paradise right?

WRONG!

While Kao Asience turned my hair into hay, Shiseido’s Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner gave me an itchy scalp!

Now, this was a development I was not expecting.

There I was enjoying the use of the Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner, marveling at how lovely and soft my hair was. I did also realize that my scalp was starting to get itchy. Believe me, its not a nice sight to see anyone scratching their head like they had head lice! Very unprofessional too to surreptitiously scratch your head in public.
