So in the afternoon, I went on a bit of last minute Chinese New Year shopping for new clothes. Yay for retail therapy \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Anyway, I&#8217;d also learnt that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/2010\/02\/waiting-for-lancome-o-my-rose-spring-2010-collection\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lancome O My Rose collection<\/a> is out at counters so I stopped by to take a look and make some brief observations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lancome Pop n Petrol Eyeshadow palette (RM140)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4325\" title=\"pop_n_petrol\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/pop_n_petrol.jpg\" alt=\"Lancome Pop n Petrol eyeshadow\" width=\"500\" height=\"383\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/pop_n_petrol.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/pop_n_petrol-300x229.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ok <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/2010\/02\/waiting-for-lancome-o-my-rose-spring-2010-collection\/\" target=\"_blank\">mystery<\/a> solved. We are getting the <strong>Pop n Petrol <\/strong>(rectangle), not Pop n Green (round) palette. I thought the Pop n Petrol would be blah. I&#8217;m very happy that Lancome has proven me wrong.<\/p>\n<p>At first glance, I thought it was close to the Color Focus quads in #104 and #105 (both discontinued I believe) but I might be mistaken. There is a shade in there that looks a dupe of that infamous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/2009\/07\/lancome-erika-f-ombre-absolue-eyeshadow-cant-beat-the-real-thing\/\" target=\"_blank\">Erika F shadow<\/a> so we&#8217;ll see once I dig into it! I&#8217;ll do you comparisons and everything over CNY \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>There is another more neutral palette in Pop n Copper but I felt it was a bit warm. Would be lovely on anyone who can pull off warm coppery shades though. I can&#8217;t so its definitely no go for me. I was actually at the Lancome counter to pick up the Pop n Cheek blush but paused for a moment to think.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>Lancome Pop n Cheek Blush Palette &#8211; Coral Flirt (RM115)<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4265\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4265\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4265\" title=\"lancome_rose\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/lancome_rose.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/lancome_rose.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/lancome_rose-300x220.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4265\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lancome O my Rose Spring 2010 blush<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It was cheaper than I expected and honestly, even without all the gold glitter, it was still pretty in a geometrical fashion. Its a blend of coral, yellow and peach shades and doesn&#8217;t look half bad.<\/p>\n<p>My only problem was getting it to show up because its light. Pretty as a light peach-coral blush but I already have a bunch of light blushes for now. The jury is out on whether I liked it enough to buy it. I was planning to but decided to think about it a bit more.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4326\" title=\"zara\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/zara.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"358\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/zara.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.mywomenstuff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/zara-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What I ended up buying were clothes &#8211; and I liked a dress from Zara so much, I bought it in both colours available \ud83d\ude1b It was on sale and was something like RM49 or so for light satin material, fit like a glove in all the right places and looked pretty good on. The best sort of buys \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m taking a slow drive home to my hometown this evening to celebrate the coming Chinese New Year with my family. Not my favourite time for travel, but I had no choice.
